Chapter 4

Knock knock!

Jake knocked at the door we stopped at.

A man, probably 2 years older then me, opened the door. As soon as the door opened, an amazing smell of vanilla hit my nose.

'Mmmmm' my wolf purred.

No! I screamed in my head. No, no, no! He is here.

My mate is here.

I walked into the room shaking with fear. I did not want to meet my mate yet, I was not ready. There was many things I had to do while I could.

From what I had heard in the past, mates were possessive creatures. Some people even said they would not let you go to the mall alone. I mean come on!

"-rly?" I saw a hand waving, in front of my face.

"Carly?" I heard jake's voice snap.

I snapped out of my trance. "Sorry, yeah?" I asked, gulping while remembering I was about to go and meet the Alpha and my mate.

"Are you okay?" Jakes eyebrows furrow with confusion and worry. I take a deep breath and smile up at him, while nodding.

We walked into the room together hand in hand.

"What do we have here?" I heard a voice that sent goosebumps all over my body.

I suddenly turned.

'Mate!' 'Mate!' My wolf screamed with pleasure.

I looked up to see the most handsome man I had ever seen. He was wearing a normal shirt with jeans. I drooled at the sight of him. His blonde hair, messed up and his mesmerizing blue eyes cold and hard. I also noticed he had a tattoo on his shoulder, did I mention his abbs? You could see them through his tight shirt, they were drool worthy.

"Mate," the man, growled.

"Mate," I agreed softly.

Suddenly, his dark and cold eyes turned soft for a second, until it went dark Again. He growled loudly, "get your hands of my mate," he growled even louder if possible.

"Alpha." Jake bowed respectfully while releasing me.

I gasped. Oh my gosh! My mate is the Alpha.

I looked up to the Alpha to see him smirk. "Jake, leave." He ordered. Jake bowed, once again and left.

Once the door closed the Alpha turned to me. "What your name, beautiful?" He asked me. I looked down, not wanting him to see my blush. No one, and I mean no one, had ever called me beautiful was always Sadie who they called beautiful.

'Awwww!' My wolf purred. 'Think he is going to except us!' She stated excitedly. I rolled my eyes at her.

"Carly." I answered the Alpha, almost forgetting he asked my name.

"A beautiful name for my beautiful mate." He answered me back. I rolled my eyes, that was the most cheesiest line I had heard.

"Really?," I asked him, "that is the most cheesiest line I have heard." I rolled my eyes at him.

I looked up to see the Alpha giving me a look of surprise and amusement, I smirked at him. He thought I would be a shy little girl, what he did not know was I was the exact opposite.

I was the feisty one.

Soon his shocked expression turned into a smirk. Then he took a step forward, I took one back, my smirk vanishing.

We kept doing that until suddenly my back hit the wall.

I squealed, as my back hit the wall.

Soon he was pressed tightly in front of me, I looked up at his eyes to see them covered in lust.

"Hi," I squeaked out.

"Hi," he answered back his voice making me want to melt into a puddle. I shivered again his skin.

My wolf was purring in joy.

"Guess what?" I asked him.

"What?" He answered, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. Then suddenly, I took my hand out and touched him,

"Tag, your it." I screamed then ran.

I smiled to myself as I ran out of the room, maybe this would not be so bad, I thought as my wolf cheered, I heard him coming closer to me so I ran faster.

I was a pretty good runner considering all my life that's what I had been doing.

I smiled to myself once again.

Ta da! Okay, okay I know I promised longer chapters but then an idea popped into my mind.

I would just update faster but with shorter chapters cause I get writers block pretty easily and half of the time I can't even think of ideas until there's a point of time where I think, hey I should do this and then I write a new, short, chapter.
