Ari's POV-

I look out the window at the night sky. We only have two days left to get the spell from Annie and give it to Aralynn, where ever she is. I lie in bed, not being able to go to sleep. I decide to face-time Ember since I haven't talked to her recently. "Ember," I mutter to it, pushing the blonde pieces of hair out of my face, pulling it up in a quick ponytail. The face-timer lit up and made a holographic picture but Ember isn't on the picture. It is Aralynn.

"Ari," she says coldly.

"What happened to Ember?" I ask quickly. "What did you do to Ember?"

"Oh, nothing," she says. "Anyway, do you have the spell?"

"No."

"Does Annie have it?"

I decide on whether or not to tell her. If I do tell her, she will come here and then we can give it to her and save Aria, or I don't tell her and Aria dies. "Annie has it but she can't come here because Aria is sick."

"Well, tell her to hurry up and train, using her powers. Oh, and Ari? We'll be coming to collect the spell in a few hours, so be ready." She ends the call before I could say anything. I run a hand through the ponytail and my mind races a million miles an hour. I click the button on the face-timer so I could call Annie.

She answers after a few heartbeats. "Ari? Why are you calling in the middle of the night?"

"Its Ember," I say as she wipes her eyes. "Aralynn has her and she wants the spell soon. She is coming to the castle. We need you here."

"We can't come though!" she exclaims. "I don't know how I can get us there and Aria is sick."

"Work really hard on it," I say forcefully. "Don't you want to save Aria? Aralynn might kill Ember as well. Do you want that?"

"No," she says groaning. Someone comes alongside her and I notice blonde hair.

"Hey Damien," I say, waving. "Can you please make your girlfriend practice her telekinesis?"

"I'll try," he says. "It's kinda hard to force her to do stuff."

"I'm right here, you know," she says grinning. "We better start training then."

"Okay, bye," I say, turning the face-timer off. I get up since I can't sleep, thinking I'll have a better chance looking in the library for anything then sleeping. I walk through the winding hallways, not running into anyone, which was good. I didn't want to see anyone this late at night. I stop in the library, looking around. No one is in here. I sit down at a table, pulling some books down with me. I read until I can't read anymore so I set my head down on the table, falling asleep.
(:)(:)(:)
I wake up to a violent shake and I jump up, hitting the person who was shaking me. "Ugh," I hear the person groan. I look to the ground to see Aaron on the floor, holding his stomach.

"Oops," I say, helping him up.

"Ari," he says slightly out of breath, "come with me."

I frown in confusion and say, "Why?"

"Scarlet has collapsed." I frown deeper and follow Aaron to the throne room. Jade is standing over her, staring at her.

"Jade, what happened?" I ask and she jumps.

"Scarlet was in the middle of talking and then yelled in pain, dropping to the ground," she says. "She's not dead."

"That's good," Aaron says. "Is there a way we could wake her?"

"Let me try." Jade waves her hand and Scarlet coughs, her eyes opening slowly.

"What happened?" Scarlet asks, looking confused for a moment. Aaron and I sit on the ground next to Scarlet as she sits up. Jade joins us as Scarlet says, " No. This couldn't have happened."

"What couldn't have happened?" Jade asks.

"I got my visions back," she says quietly.

"How?" I ask, thinking back to the time we took her powers away.

"I don't know," she says, clearly confused. "Wait." She closes her eyes. "In the spell I made that took away my powers, I made sure that the people who took my powers, got them. Shun died after he got one of my powers so it must have transferred back to me."

"Does that mean we will get your powers?" I ask, surprised.

"Well, that's what I just said, right?" she asks, getting a little snappy. "Anyway, I did get a vision with that pain."

"What was it?" Aaron asks quietly.

"Someone dying and animals going everywhere. Only four animals though. Even though it was a little fuzzy, I think it was people leaving with them in a flash of light."

"Could you see who died? Or who went with those animals in that flash of light?" I ask.

"Did I stutter?" she says. "I said it was fuzzy, so no, I couldn't see who it was."

Aaron and I look at each other. "This could be bad," he mutters, running a hand through his perfect blonde hair. "Can you tell when it will happen?"

"No," she says crossly. "Now, when are you gonna give Aralynn the spell? Aria needs to wake up and run her country."

"Annie has it but she can't get here because of Aria's . . . sickness. She can use her telekinesis to move between realms, but she needs to practice."

"She has to hurry up!" Jade says, tears filling her eyes. "I can't lose another person!"

She runs off and Aaron and I look at each other. "What just happened?" Scarlet says.

"I have no idea," Aaron says. "Scarlet, we promise you to Annie will get here as soon as possible and give Aralynn that spell. We'll save Aria."

"Aralynn is coming here to get the spell so hopefully Annie comes quickly," I mutter. "I'm going to find Jade to see if she is okay. Anyone want to come?"

"I'll stay with Scarlet and make sure she is alright," Aaron says. "Be careful Ari."

I smile and say, "Thanks, you too." I head in the direction that I think Jade ran. I run as fast as I can, trying to follow the footsteps. Soon, they stop so I slow down at bit. I turn the corner and see Jade on the ground. She flicks her wrists and the hallway darkens for a second. It returns to a normal light and I gasp. Jade turns toward me, saying, "What are you doing here?"

"I-I was gonna see if you are okay," I say, staring over her shoulder. "What-what did you just do?"

"I brought Shun back."
