i turned,
and then burst into laughter
at his face that was covered in soot.
i soaked a piece of cloth,
gently wiping his face.
"what were you doing?"
"i was trying to make the fire bigger."
i giggled slightly,
when i noticed his gaze hard on me.
i stopped smiling,
letting my eyes meet his.
"what?"
"i forgot how beautiful you look
when you smile."
i furrowed my eyebrows at him
and hit him gently.
however,
his gaze never leave me,
as a small smile was displayed on his face.
