A Broken Heart

Long ago the brightness of my soul has left me. The love of my life has already passed away ... I will never see her in my life. I still remember that when I came from a long day of the Council of vampires, she always gave me a smile and that smile made me forget all problems I was dealing with.

Already 3 miserable years of my life have passed...
Today comes to live with me a certain Zero Kiryu that according to all it was a friend of my wife that unfortunately is not here anymore. I hear a car door close and the doorbell ring, after waiting a few moments he opens the door and I hear a few steps, surely of that boy. The reason that Zero is going to live with me is because everyone thought that if we make company to each other, we would not miss Yuki too much. Someone knocked outside my door I just said "go ahead" no matter who it was "you must be Kaname Kuran, right? My name is Zero Kiryu .... It's nice to meet you" said Zero behind me .... I was confused I seemed to be daydreaming "well, that's what I want to know, why did you stayed staring at me?" Zero asked "can not I see how the person I'm going to live with looks like?" I said crossing my arms "how weird you are" he said and threw himself in the bed and closed his eyes "what are you doing?" I asked "is it not obvious I am going to sleep, I am sleepy" and with that he fell asleep.

It was like I was still alone that Zero I was a very sleepy person,he fell asleep when it was 3:00 p.m and it's already 6:00 p.m. I am bored. I sit on the couch reading a book and if that was not the case, I was reading or watching TV, then I heard a noise that caught my attention and I went to see it out of curiosity. When I approach the place from where I came the noise came from I heard ... Moans? How strange, I opened the door, what I saw was something horrible .... Zero was cutting himself "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!?!?!" I asked taking the small knife that he held "you care?" He told me not caring that he was bleeding from his wrist "does it look like I do not care?!?!? You may be new here but if you are going to live here you will have to stop cutting yourself" I said "never" Zero said in a low voice "since When do you cut yourself? " I asked him sitting​ at the edge of the bed "since she died" I said '3 years ago' I thought, a voice in my mind told me to hug him and say that everything was fine, I never thought that someone was more affected than I was by the death of my wife "Zero do not cry" I said and for some reason I kissed him, he was somewhat surprised but then began to correspond to my kiss, after a while we separated for lack of oxygen "why did you do that?" he asked me, I did not respond and began to lick the cut of his wrist until it closed, he just looked at me with his amethyst eyes that I liked to look at so much "I'll ask again because you kissed me?" He asked me "because I did not want you to cry any more" I answered though I did not even know why I did it.

A week later...

Zero turned out to be a good cook, his food was delicious although he denied it "Kaname time to eat" he said "okay I'm going" I said and went straight to the dining room where I expected a plate with food "I hope you like it" He said, sitting down to start eating. I instead looked at the food, remembered that it was Yuki's favorite, Zero noticed and asked me "what's wrong? Do you not like it?" "It's not that, it is just that Onigiri was Yuki's favorite food," I said, "oh excuse me," he said, "do you want me to prepare something different?" "It is alright" I said and started to eat, none of us dared to say anything while we ate.
