{Day 46 out of 135}The lunch bell rung out as cheers as loud as day filled the halls like birds chirping for there mother, my head proactively swivelled around to see the black haired male watching me prance down the hallway.
I let out a small cute chuckle trying my best to not look helpless to his command, I had found about a week ago, that I had loved Sirius though I knew telling him would lose me the bet, and I hate losing.
"Hello!" Sirius quickly spouted giving me a happy smile.
"Hi." I mumbled holding my breath steady trying easily to keep calm and not stutter.
"There's gonna be a quidditch game today, watch me and pray to Merlins beard I win!" He mimicked the Merlin part sending me cool wind shattering shivers.
"You win?" Questioned Raven from the corner of the wall.
I hadn't talked to Raven in quiet awhile.
"How's the luck on your injuries?" I stated quickly shifting over to Raven as I did.
Thought it's not like I didn't notice her limping leg.
She seemed to notice and began to speak. "Werewolf bite."
I shuddered on about the though of a werewolf biting me and the possibility of me turning, and then I heaved a heavy sigh knowing that Raven had just used up all her luck for the week, she hadn't gotten infected.
"You're all struck out of luck." I whispered into her ear and began to the library nothing for me to munch on.
"Where ya' heading?" Lily questioned happily an apprehensive look bracing me for more inquisitive little different personalities from Lily.
"To the library." I snickered.
"With what lunch?" Lily murmured quickly.
A heaved a hesitant sigh and strutted down the hallway as a sandwich magically appeared in my hands, which wasn't I regular here, seeing as we all had magic wands and weren't here to do magic tricks, even though I had just done that.
"This." I murmur in an unenthusiastic way pointing eagerly towards my sandwich. "Now lay off me will ya?"
"Yeah, yeah." Hushes Lily brushing her hair quickly away from her face sending me hand movements to get on my angered pathway.
Sirius somehow wondered beside me a bored expression placed gingerly onto his bitter looking face, his negative attitude had began to bug me, I opened the oak doors of them argue castle and flopped my way towards a shelf labeled fantasy.
You could always rely on fantasy to whisk you away to a land which you made up the rules and creatures, you never had to wish you were different in fantasy, because well, it never really mattered in fantasy. Sirius took a seat behind you peeking every so often over your shoulder to see what was going on in your fantasy land, as your mother would call it, the sans washing placed beside you disappeared.
"I though you had a lunch?" Sirius murmured a inquisitive voice taking over.
"I did." I complied and sat up moving towards the actual book section, I had finished it.
I grabbed a few books that I had either read before or found interesting and would tickle my interest, I stomped towards the librarian's desk and shovelled the books onto her desk carefully making sure not to damage the fragile objects.
"This all?" She questioned eagerly, I would usually take out way more but that never mattered to me, the amount was nothing, the information was everything.
"For now," I commented loudly as she sent me a nod. "Though I might come back and take out more, or I won't yo never know."
I chuckle escaped her lips eagerly and I ordered my way around seeing If there was anything I wished to read, there was nothing.
"Can we leave?" Siriuses bored dull tone and sent me over edge.
"Then. Leave." I commented angrily. "You're not inclined to be here, and I never said I needed you." I had snapped.
If he didn't like they way I rolled then he shouldn't be with me, my eyes suddenly widen and a he sent me a hurtful gaze, I realized what I had said and reached out towards his arm quickly. His eyes suddenly closed and he detached his arm from my arm, obviously he was hurt by what I said, I sighed and began to I speak.
"I-I'm sorry, don't make me say it again." I hummed lightly trying my best to keep my voice steady.
Sirius sent me an uncertain look and then paced back slowly towards me, his fingers pressed quickly around my shoulders gently and as are faces were inches apart he shook me.
"Don't ever say that again." He murmured a serious tone gripping his words, " It's not like you!"
I chuckled on a soft murmur as I realized that his serious tone was just a joke, I snatched up my pile of books swiftly and began my way towards my room Sirius towing behind, lunch would be over soon meaning I had as little time to get there. Are walk was quiet and I soon realized how awkward we seemed and I softly chuckled, Sirius looked at me grimly a smile firmly following behind him.
"Hey Sirius?" I questioned quickly my inquisitive attitude seemed to catch him on edge, but he silently hummed a yes. "Can we-" I stopped and breathed quickly, my head aches and I felt weird asking the question.
"Can we what?"
"Can we make the bet longer?" I murmured quickly though I'm sure he caught the question and it sent me on edge to what his reply would be.
"I, let me think on it, okay?" He replied quickly and my heart mentally clapped, I sighed happily and shook my head in a calm happy manor.
"Yeah, I actually thought you were gonna say no, and that would have probably made me mad." I commented not realizing that this was hope to me liking Sirius.
"Does that mean you like me ba-?" His questioned stopped but I shook my head no.
"It's just- I've always hid behind a lonely bubble behind a wall of brick like books, I've always wanted to friendly and meet new people like you, I always respected the people who could stand there and be so friendly. And then you asked me about the bet, and I just- I just felt so happy that I could actually do something with my life, and this bet, was what changed my bubble."
"It changed how I felt about everyone and it opened me up, instead of looking to the ground I watched the faces and emotions of others, so I guess- Thank you Sirius Black for fixing me."
