Love is blind
They say love is blind, but they don't tell why.

They don't tell why this infectious chemical twists and turns through rotten, broken bodies.
They don't tell why the bloody bodies yearn to please the knife holder, when all they receive in return is bruises.

They don't tell the stories of those blinded.
They don't tell of the blinded being led to the edge of a cliff.
They don't tell of when the blinded are pushed.
Or how their hearts still pump and beat for those whom led them there.

Love is blind, that is true.
Love can control you, force you to bend at its will.
It will pull you in with a white rose, then stab you with its thorns, until the rose turns crimson.

They say love is blind, but they don't tell why.
