Misty flowers, decaying corpses,
I saw life losing its sanity.

Light rays deflect, time warps –
I witnessed death taking a dose of insanity.

Once there was life, now there's a last
I glimpsed at life's infamous tragedy.

Dig the graves, wrap the body –
I hid from death's inevitability.

We re-attach the umbilical cord,
tears are frozen, and words are broken.

We raise our hands in prayer,
lips are unmoving, and fingers tremble.

We whisper decorated condiments,
this day an irony, and the world a comedy.

We crash our crumbling hearts on the sea's shore –
it's not magic, it's simple misery.
