If a 2p is in pain, then it's 1p will not feel it. However, if a 1p is in pain then it's 2p will feel the same pain.
It's a complicated process, since the 2p is technically a copy (or a different version), if it's hurt it wouldn't matter to the 1p. But because a 2p has the exact same DNA as its 1p, then if the 1p dies or gets hurt, so does the copy.
