title: hanahaki / red thorns / unrequited love

plot: wherein she/he is madly in love with someone, someone who only thinks of her as a friend and nothing else more. by that, she/he started to cough out white pure daisies, that represents innocent love. but soon, they all became roses with crimson red petals along with thorns that hurts her/his throat and lungs. she/he him/herself only knew about this and not anyone else.

the condition is called the "hanahaki disease" which is developed because of a one-sided love. you can just research it on the internet.
