Snaring is my passion, so will it end?
I made a mistake so I lost a year
Of snaring which is what I most defend.
To be on the line was not a big fear,
But going a year without it, repent.
It's what I feel watching others play it.
The pulse running through my feet, I miss It.
In slow-mo when I play a drum cadence.
I miss the snare drum, and it misses me.
The snares of the drum relieve me so well
All the feelings go away and set free.
Away went my dreams, and regret I felt.
What I would like to do is just rewind,
Then my talent would be truly defined.
