The girl fled, her curly red hair bouncing as she ran.  There was something playful in her steps.  In the twinkle in her eyes.  She threw a playful look over her shoulder to her friends.  "You can't catch me!" She shouted to her friends, giggling a little.

The woods was their favorite place to play, especially after a rainstorm. The air was just so cool, and everything felt so alive to the girl. The light drops on the grass gave them a delightful sparkle .

The rain always gave the forest a, to her, nice musty scent. The sun's reflecting on the beads of water on the grass captivated her. Sava giggled, enjoying the sunlight. But, fun and games don't last forever.

She heard a sound from the bushes. "Wavern?" she called out to one of her friends. There was no answer, causing her to feel nervous. All of a sudden, the normally peaceful forest seemed, ominous. It was almost too quiet. She called out again."W-Wavern.....?A-Alleen....?" Again nothing. It was as if the two had vanished.

The only warning she had was the rustle of a bush. She turned, and let out a scream of absolute terror.
