The End of the Line

    I see Nao walk over to the edge and stand on the railing. He turns around and yells........
My ears pop again and I know I'm about to hear what he's going to say.

"We all have no purpose here on earth. We all try to do something but we fail because of ourselves or someone else. Why live in a world where we have no reason to live in. There is only one word that describes all of us, objects. We are all objects in this world...."

   My ears pop and I can't hear the rest of what Nao says, but I could u understand he was mad at me. But I do see the teachers walk towards the edge and towards Nao yelling at him telling him something. It was obvious he wasn't listening and he looks at me and gives me a small smile along with me mouthing I'm sorry.

I then know what he's going to do. He turns and looks at Sie and salutes towards her and her group. And right then and there.....

Nao drops backwards towards the ground. He continues falling till he hits the ground. He committed suicide because I didn't give him a chance.

Everyone walks over to the edge, some start crying others are to paralyzed to move or say anything. I walk down the stairs and towards his body, dropping down to the ground. And for the first time ever if scream;
"You idiot, why did you do that!"
I scream and put my head of his as tears drop down my face.

I knew it. Once I arrive home at his funeral, which the whole class was at, I see them passing some notebook around. It was Nao's Diary and in he wrote
"I just wanted for her to understand me and give me a chance. Tomorrow at the field trip I will dive off the edge and die. Dear Rey if your reading this I love you!"

I feel a tear drop down my face as I walk out the door taking Nao's Diary with me.

"I love you too, Nao!"
