Loving Can Hurt

"I like Kenzie because she's just so..amazing." I stutter.

"She's so beautiful, sweet, caring, insanely talented, I love EVERYTHING about her!!"

"She's not just beautiful on the outside, she's beautiful on the inside too. I like her.."

"Aaaaaawwwww." my family gushed.

Do I like or love Kenzie?

Life is one big mystery.

"Do you wanna FaceTime her?" Lauren smirks.

"Oh yeah, we forgot to tell you about the tour." I remind myself.

"So, we decided that we should make a Day and Night tour." Darian says.

"Sounds good to me." my mum smiles.

"It'll give you plenty of time to figure out your feelings for her." my dad winks.

Kenzie is my dream girl, and I'm never going to give up to get her.

"That's the spirit, John!" Maddie cheers.

Wait, did I just say that out loud?

"YUP." Lauren grins.

I grab my phone and look at my Instagram.

"Kenzie's with Hayden in LA right now." I show them the photo.

That means I can't FaceTime her.

"I feel so bad for you, John. There's nothing worse than being in a friendzone."

I sigh. VERY LOUDLY..

"Cheer up, buddy. Do you want to have a family sleepover in Maddie's room?" mum says.

My mum always knows how to cheer me up.

"Yesss!!" we all say.

"Why my room?" Maddie groans

"Why not?" Darian adds.

We get changed into our onesies and prepare all the snacks.

"This is going to be so fun!" Lauren squeals.

"I can't believe mum and dad let us do this."

My parents are pretty cool.

"Do you like my onesie?" my dad twirls around.

"Pretty lit." my mum strolls in wearing a onesie.

We bought pig onesies from LA, while on tour.

"I scream, you scream. We scream for ICE CREAM!!" Lauren "screams".

Maddie and I both have vanilla ice cream. Lauren, Darian and mum have mint choc chip. My dad has cookies and cream.

"This is so yummy!" I break the silence.

We take a family photo and post it on Instagram.

"Do you want to watch a movie?" Maddie asks.

We grab the popcorn and prepare for the movie.

We switch on The Lego Batman Movie.

It was a pretty awesome movie and the popcorn was so buttery.

When the movie finished it was 10 pm, but we weren't going to sleep until 12 am.

"Let's play Kiss, Kill or Marry."

This is going to be embarrassing.

"John, Kiss, Kill or Marry..Kenzie, Ruby or Kylie?" Darian smiles mischievously.

It's going to be hard between Kenzie and Kylie.

"Kill: Ruby. Kiss: Kenzie. Marry: KYLIEEEE." I reply.

We play a a lot more games until bed time.

"Good night guys." we all say to each other.

I rest my head on my pillow, and fall into a deep sleep...

*Inside Johnny's Dream*

I was on top of the mountain when, Kenzie comes up and hugs me.

I hug her back.

"I broke up with Hayden, because I liked you."

I start to dance around.

"I love you." I tell her.

She blushes.

Suddenly, she slips and tries to hang onto the edge of the mountain.

"Johnny, HELP ME!!" Kenzie screams.

I grab her hand and I pull as hard as I can.

But then, I lose my balance and Kenzie just disappears.

I sob.

I wake up at 5 am feeling very confused and dazed.

What just happened? I asked myself.

Oh, it was just a dream!

I lean on my pillow, and start to sleep again.

*The next morning*

"Good morning." my mum wakes us up.

My dream was so weird.

"Did you all have a good sleep?" Dad asks.

"I had the weirdest dream ever." I tell them.

I sit down and tell them about it.

"Maybe it means something?"

Maybe. Maybe not.
