youtube comment thread

so I read this comment thread on YouTube (which was extremely long) because of this comment which (no joke) made me CRY LIKE NIAGARA FALLS.

I don't have the link to the comment section (or any space in my phone to take a screenshot because... I take to many screenshots)

but the comment said and I quote:

"What if Dan joined the army, and on the day he was suppose to come home, everyone was coming out of the plane, and Phil was waiting for him to come out, but instead, a man came up to him and gave him a paper and all he said was "Sorry for your loss" before walking away. Phil read the paper, telling him that Dan was presumed dead, because he disappeared during a raid. Phil breaks down, and goes home broken and crying.

A year later, Phil is moving out of the flat, and he finds a box of old photos of him and Dan on TATINOF. He starts to cry, but he's still smiling, thinking of the brown haired boy he lost and the times they had together. When he gets a knock on his door, he assumes it's his neighbor, let's call her Charlotte, who's been checking on him for the past year as he got over his loss. "Charlotte, I told you, I'm doing just fi-" He cuts himself off as he looks up, and sees Dan, caked with dirt, in his uniform, tears in his eyes, right in front of him.

"Dan?" He asks quietly, tears falling slowly. He practically tackles him in a hug, never wanting to let go.

"I'm home." Dan whispers." End quote.

(before you say this is unrealistic, it's a fanfic headcannon, not real life)

IF THIS DIDNT MAKE YOU CRY THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT WILL.

AND A LOT OF PEOPLE HAS BEEN SAYING THAT THEY WOULD MAKE THE BOOK BUT I HAVENT FOUND ONE BOOK THAT WAS EVEN STARTED NOR COMPLETED.

So if you know at least a book that was dedicated to this comment, or a book with a similar plot line, PLS TELL ME.
