she turned away from people in anger and spite. 

the summer's day was a spotlight she despised 

the night's darkness was a mask of disguise. 

with that of darkness she was free without care,

with that of light she was kept in despair. 

she longed for darkness but lived for the day,

her confused mind was leading her astray. 

she had a plan of which she thought would work, 

but the summers day was always on the lurk.
