It's crazy,
how something can seem to last
forever,
and then it ends.
Surreal.
How can it be?
Time flashes by,
you've made a home here.
Was it so long ago,
that all this was new?
That the faces,
voices,
scenery,
and feelings,
were unknown?
Things were fun,
friendships formed,
lessons learned,
and laughs shared.
But now ...
I forcefully retreat.
No way to continue on these bonds,
for now.
That will come again,
soon.
Till then,
it's the end,
of one helluva good year.
