Chapter 3 ~ Truth

After Phil went back to sleep, Dan and I just decided to watch an anime. I think I fell asleep in like the 15th episode? Anyway, when I woke up, the sensation of pancakes was filling the air. I stretched a bit and sat up. I grabbed my phone and checked the time. 11:49 am.

I got up and walked towards the kitchen where Phil was making pancakes and Dan was sitting at the table. "Morning (y/n)!" Phil says as he puts the pancakes on 3 plates. "Thanks Phil." I smiled as I grabbed 2 of the plates and sat next to Dan. I put one of the plates in front of him. He just dazed off. "Dan? Are you okay?" I asked concerned. He still stares off. I wave my hand in front of him. "Hm..? Oh, sorry. What was that?" He asked, snapping to reality. "Food?" I joke. He laughs slightly I runs his fingers through his hair.

He looked tiered and worn out. "Your okay, Dan?" He nods. "Your sure?" He nods again. But I knew he was lying. It was me...wasn't it? I bit my tounge trying not to ask. But that failed. "It's was me...wasn't it? I'm sorry..." I got up to leave, but Dan grabbed my hand. "It's wasn't. Why would it be?"

"Because you randomly found me in a Starbucks, when you only knew me for like 30 minutes, I ask to stay over and now your flatmate is feeding me. I MEAN, WHAT THE HELL?! YOU BARELY EVEN FUCKING KNOW ME! FOR ALL YOU FUCKING KNOW, I COULD BE A RUSSIAN FUCKING SPY TRYING TO RUIN YOUR LIFE OR WHATEVER! YET I'M STILL FUCKING HERE! I AM JUST THIS-" Dan it inturups. "(Y/n)! Calm down! Look...Phil and I just wanted to help. I don't even care that I barley know you! How are you supposed to make friends? Phil doesn't mind cooking, and a Russian spy would never admit that. And I know what you were going to call yourself. You are NOT a cunt, Bitch, or a needy person. You are beautiful and accepting. That is amazing. Don't bring yourself down." I just stared at him. "You are right..." I said as I sat down.
