Chapter 36 - I Won't Let You Die

Tate backs away slowly.

“Shit! We have to get out of here!” Nick said as he started to run.

Nick stopped running and turned around. Tate was still standing there.

“Tate!”

Tate wouldn't move and he is just staring at it.

Nick's eyes widened, Tate was frozen in fear.

Ten seconds until it goes off.

Nick's heart started to beat faster.

Nick couldn't hear nothing but, his heartbeat.

[ Grab His Hand ]

[ Run Away ]

Nick wasn't going to let Tate die. They're friends and like Clementine said, friends don't leave each other behind.

Nick quickly runs over to Tate and grabs his hand.

Five seconds until the bomb goes off.

Nick starts running, dragging Tate with him.

They run out of there and into the woods.

They heard the bomb go off. When they look back, all they see is fire.

Nick and Tate run away from the place.

They stopped running and were walking now.

Nick was still holding Tate's hand as they walked in the woods.

Tate was letting him lead him away from there.

“I'm sorry…” Tate said in a quiet voice.

Nick turns around and looks at him.

“I could've gotten us both killed...I don't know why fear got to me…” he said

“It's fine...but, don't forget that me, reese, and the others care about you.” Nick said with a smile.

Tate smiled and nods his head.

They started walking again.

They get back to the ski lodge and see Reese run out of there.

Clementine was behind him.

They both hug Nick and Tate.

Nick and Tate hugs them back.

“We're glad you guys are back.” Reese said

“And that you're okay.” Clem said

Nick and Tate just smiled.

The next chapter will hopefully be longer xD and it's gonna be the last chapter too :)
