“I can't wait for the Black Light dance tomorrow, I’ve been waiting for this all year!” Jordan exclaims. Thet were busy transforming the cafeteria into the dance. There was so many things that the 8 of them had to prepare…but while they were getting ready for the big night they didn’t realize that something’s going on. For one thing; the lights went missing, then the clock struck 9. Then for the first time that night, they heard the announcements. “Good night my 8 students…you may be wondering who I am…I am your worst nightmare.” The intercom went on.

“I will be taking your lives, one by one, each hour. I will not tell you, but I will give you my priorities. First, Ethan or dumb ass Michael.” The voice exclaimed. “EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!” Michael screamed, and ran off. “Dumb ass.” Stephanie whispered, watching Michael run off. The seven of them stared at each other, then the ground started shaking.

In the cafeteria, it was filled with glass shattering and A LOT of swearing. Jordan jumped onto the ground, as she felt she was sinking. They all closed their eyes, and worried about the future. They all slowly opened their eyes, and looked around. Jordan ran towards the exit. “We’re all underground!” Katelynn screamed. “I know…I can call…” Annie muttered. “KALEY!” Stephanie suggested. Jordan got out her phone, and called Kaley.

“Kayley, come to North Star Middle now but-“ Jordan ordered, but the signal cut off. Kaley had her Mom drive her, and drops her off. “What the heck?” Kaley asked. A dark figure comes, and pushes Kaley. Kaley falls 50 feet underground. “Do you think Kaley will come?” Annie worries. “Nah, I doubt it, you kn-“ Ethan replies, to have Kaley crashing onto him. “OW!” Ethan yells. “Sorry.” Kaley replies. “Screw you.” Ethan mutters.

Meanwhile, Michael felt stalked. He ran inside of an 8th grade class. "Crap, crap, crap, crap!" Michael repeated. The windows cracked, and the lights went off. "I'm Hindu Does that give me a freebee?" Michael asked. The killer started giggling. "Fine." She whispered, then she kissed him. "My world is awesome...wait...did you just shoot-" Michael cheered, then fell to the ground, dead.

"Hello my children, Michael took a death for you an HOUR ago. Good luck, Kaley and Katelynn!" The killer cheered. Ethan turned to the 7 girls around him. "I say we split up." Ethan suggested. "Why would we do that?" Mona asked. "Okay, we split up into 3's. Me, 'Nani' and Jordan. Mona, Annie and Katelyn. Oh! And add Kaley into that group!" Ethan arranged. "What about me?" Stephanie complains.

"Ethan." Jordan says. "What? Fine?" Ethan took a sigh. "Let's go!" Mona announces. The two groups split up, walking around campus with caution. Stephanie and Ethan seperated from the group, going to the office. "Bingo." Stephanie whispered, grabbing a box of walkie talkies. "Great job" Ethan compliments.

6th Grade, two years ago. The gang sat at their usual lunch table. Jordan and Ethan, ex best friends trying to reconnect their once powerful friendship. Michael, the perverted Indian who isn't exactly favored by most girls, looked down on by all guys and some girls do have some dignity to be his friend. Annie, the petite girl who can be hell if you mess with her. Nalani, the aspiring singer who wants to make it big, but stay true to herself.

Rebecca, the sassy Puerto Rican girl who seriously can't seem to stop laughing. Katelynn, emotional but fiesty, not the easisest to deal with. Kaley, shy but intelligent girl. Stephanie, taking the spot of one of Jordan's BFF's, posting an extremely cold spot next to Ethan "stealing" his BFF. And Mona, the over emotional, ADHD, bad girl who tries to stay out of trouble, but it's so tempting...

You can call them the misfits. They don't exactly fit in with others, but they aren't outsiders. Lots of friends but not exactly popular. They do definitely get along with each other. One time, Jordan, Stephanie, Michael and Mona were together. "Hey Mona, let's play the silent game! Winner gets...a brownie!" Jordan offered, after kept Mona talking over and over again. "Ok. Ready, go!" Mona says. "I lose." Michael says immediately. Jordan decided not to compete.

Stephanie, usually never quiet, sits there quietly, doing the word search the substitute gave her. "Wow..." Jordan said. "What?" Michael asked. "Look at them...so quietly." Jordan whispered. After a lot of fidgeting and blushing, jumping and groaning, Mona finally gave in. "HALLELUJAH!" Stephanie cheers. "Oh my gosh I felt like that was forever. Anyways, Michael, you were so close to Jordan. Don't start touching her. Jordan, you're hair's all messed up. Mona, PLEASE stop moving!" Stephanie blabbed.

"Where's my brownie?" Mona asked. "Mona! You lost!" Jordan complained. "Brownie?" She whispered. "It's my brownie, Mona." Stephanie explains. "I won, you lost." She continues. Starting to cry, Stephanie sighs. "I'll buy you some gummy bears." She mutters. "YAY!" Mona cheers.

XxX

"Thanks" Stephanie replies. The two found Jordan and Nalani. They passed out the walkie talkies, then caught up with the other group. "Mona in, Mona in, Blondie, you there?" Mona asked. "Blondie, Shorty, Senor White, and Firework Girl here." Stephanie replies. "Who came up with the code names?" Jordan wonders. "Me, ya like or ya like, Blondie?" Stephanie replies. "Killer to Mona, you in? “A voice appears. "Um...S-Stephanie, w-who's code name is K-Killer?" Mona stutters. "I n-never named anyone K-Killer..." Stephanie whispered.

"Open the storage closet, Mona," The voice orders. "O-Ok." Mona says. "Monna d-don't." Kaley orders. Wanting her life, Mona opened the door. "OH MY GOD!" Mona screamed. "WHAT?" Nalani yelled.
