Always smiling, never sad
Always okay, whenever you ask
Teardrops falling, silently
Her mind is spinning, violently
Dizzy, dizzy, thoughts are buzzing
Running, running, can't catch a break
Praying in the dark
Crying to the shadows
When whispers grow louder
Masks all fall down
Whispers, whispers, chase her down
Whispers whimpers, keep her awake
She can hear them
All the time
Running breathless
Searching for a sign
But whispers catch up
And all the masks fall
Behind the smile
There are tears in her eyes
And she whispers :
I give up
And I'll let the world see
How broken they've made me
Silent tears fall
Silent prayer heard by the heaven
