CHAPTER 6

DANIEL POV

me - I am sorry that I did not believe you Katie

Katie - it is fine......I wouldn't have believed me either 

Corbyn - guys lights out moms orders 

me - wait what time is it 

Jonah - dude it is almost 12 so get in bed

me - but I haven't even showered

Katie - better get one fast

I kissed Katie on the forehead and ran to my room. I jumped in the shower and let the water hit my skin. I loved the water and I always have. I washed my body and hopped out. I dried myself and threw on my boxers and sweatpants. My stomach began to growl, I did not even realize that I was hungry. Then it hit me......I have not eaten since breakfast.

I am not allowed to be up this late in my house. So I had to quietly sneak downstairs to go grab some food. I made it to the kitchen only to see Jack making something.

me - what are you doing

Jack - well I was hungry so I made a sandwich

me - same...I am starving so you wanna make me one

Jack - sure

He went to grab the bread and other supplies while I sat and looked out the window. I could only think about her.....well me. What if she was cold or worse. I really just wanted to go check on her. How can a girl live for that many years in the woods by herself.

Jack - hey man what you thinking about

me - ummm...me

Jack - yeah I couldn't sleep, I am just scared that she is cold or worse

me - yeah same

Jack - well she has done it for this long so she is fine

me - yeah I guess you are right

Jack - here eat up and go to sleep

I took the sandwich and ate all of it in no time. Since I was full I made my way back up the stairs without being caught. I laid in bed for a couple of minutes just thinking of me. What if she gets hurt. I can't help but worry about her.

I will just visit her tomorrow.

Then the night consumed me
