So I used to say "don't judge," but now I find that shit annoying. Mainly because, hey, guess what compliments are technically judgement. Judgement is criticism, and criticism can be negative or positive. So, let's get some hard evidence... or I guess it'd be soft evidence because it isn't tangible... whatever. So if I were to define judgement, I would define it as the following.
Judgement; noun To give a fair opinion on
Judge me as you like... *budum-* kill me. Alright and so compliments are giving your opinions on a thing. The opinion usually being - taken - uhh, I meant the opinion is usually positive. And unless you're lying, your opinion is fair.
Wait so what was I talking about again? Oh right. So criticism is essentially giving your opinion in order to help someone improve.
Alright so with that out of the way, the reason I have strong feeling of disdain towards those who would dare utter the saying, "don't judge," is because judgement is the only way for one to change for the better. Because what is judgement, my mothers and "boyfriend" (according to Ava)? Giving your opinion. And what is giving your opinion? Criticizing. And what is criticizing? Giving your opinion TO HELP THE PERSON YOU ARE GIVING YOUR OPINION TO!
