My Frozen Feelings (TUFH II)

Happy Birthday

"Jack?!" I asked while blushing. He smirked at me. "What's with the outfit?"

"Do I look handsome?" he asked playfully and held my chin, making me blush even more.

"Uh..." I avoided his eye contacts to hide my blush. He stopped holding my chin and grabbed my waist.

"Do I?" he smirked. I can't respond because of my blush. "Do I look handsome?" he continued and slowly moved his face towards mine.

"Fine!" I pushed him back then turned my back to hide my blush. "You're handsome!" I continued. All the people inside the ballroom laughed. Wait... can they see Jack? Well, for me, I am now immortal but they didn't knew about my death so they still believed in me that's why they can still see me. But for Jack... I walked near Jack and whispered ,"They can see you?" I asked.

"Yes" He replied simply. I looked at him with a how-come look. He chuckled softly, "You remember the potions that we drank when we first went to the Magic School?" he asked and I nodded. "Well we went there yesterday and asked some professors on how to make it" he explained.

"Aaah...."

We partied the whole day 'till night. It was so fun! And so many chocolates! Many people talked to me! And I don't have to act like a queen that time! I was so free! It was my best birthday ever!

When the party was done, all the villagers went back to their homes and the royal highnesses went back to their ships. While we went back to our rooms. I was going to open the door of my room when someone suddenly grabbed my wrist. I looked at it and saw Jack. He looked sad. "Jack?" I asked. Then he gave me a faint smile.

"Let's go outside?" He requested.

"It's already dark. Why do you still want to go?" I asked him again. He didn't talked for a few seconds , "Ja-" he suddenly cut me off by hugging me. "Uhm... Jack? Are you alright?" I hugged him back.

"I just... missed you" he said silently. "I didn't had a chance to talk to you because a lot of people were talking to you... all the time" He sighed. I was supposed to be sad because he is sad too but instead of being sad, a small smile instantly showed up on my face.

"Really?" I asked playfully. He didn't respond, and looked at me. I couldn't help but laugh.

"What's so funny?" he asked while raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing. Just ,did you really missed me?" I asked playfully. "Or you're just playing another tri-" but he cut me off by kissing my lips. My went wide and blushed. He kissed me deeper and I closed my eyes. He cupped my cheeks and slowly leaned my back on the door. He slowly opened the door behind me and went inside without breaking the kiss. Oh no. Something bad's gonna happen tonight.
