In the 15 years Val stayed out of the radar, she hid for a while, until she couldn't anymore. After she turned herself in her punishment wasn't as long as Aniya's was. She had her daughter Vanessa, who grew up being rotten and rude. Val lives with Vanessa and temporarily Aniya's daughter Akeya since Aniya is not out of prison for another week.
