-Flashback-
"GET THE FUCK OUT! I DON'T NEED YOU HERE! YOU KILLED THE ONE I LOVE!"
I hid in the corner, with my dad hovering over me.
He had a belt in his hand, and his eyes were blood red.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry..."
"YOU THINK SORRY IS GOING TO FIX EVERYTHING???"
He brought down the belt on me.
Again.
Again.
and again.
I was crying my eyes out.
My body was all purple and bruised.
"HUH? YOU DIDN'T SEEM TO BE CRYING WHEN YOU MURDERED YOUR MOTHER!!!"
He stormed away into the kitchen, making me sigh in relief.
But only to get a huge butcher knife and hold it right above my head.
I froze.
I was pretty sure I didn't have anymore tears to let out.
"Looks like I'll just have to kill this little pretty face."
Wait.
That's illegal.
But he didn't look like he cared.
He brought the knife down to my mouth, cutting away all the flesh on my left jaw.
I swear, you could now see my teeth and my jawbone.
I couldn't even feel the pain anymore.
I had to go through this everyday.
I felt a searing pain across my right eye.
The blood dripped the cut, blinding it.
I screamed.
"SO YOU JUST WON'T SHUT UP EH?"
I immediately brought my voice down to a soft whimper.
He slashed the knife across the bridge of my nose, across my right cheek, and down my neck.
My father suddenly jerked to the right, and I saw a boy, a rich boy, holding up a gun to my father's head.
My eyes widened at the sight.
He hissed into my father's ear,
"Get out, before I kill you."
My father, not wanting to give in, muttered,
"I'm not moving until I kill this bastard."
The boy stole a glance at me.
"Even if he did something wrong, he does not deserve this. Leave."
He shoved my father roughly to the side, leaving him unconcious.
He turned back to me and his eyes were warm.
"Hey, by the way, my name's Jung Hoseok, nice to meet you!"
And I, being the awkward person I was, stuttered,
"U-Um, I should probably get going now, I don't want to cause you any trouble..."
He looked at me sternly.
"You don't have a place to live, you are in no condition to go anywhere, just live with me."
"U-Um, are your parents okay with this?"
"Yeah sure!"
"O-Okay..."
