♧~3rd Person's POV~♧

Caylee wandered around the palace grounds as she looked for a route to get out of this god forsaken place.

She checked her quiver again to see if she had enough arrows to last for sometime. She also checked her bow to see if it's in good shape.

Caylee was a child that has never stepped out of the palace grounds as her father forbid her to ever leave the place. He said that she isn't fit for such a place for commoners.

Caylee sneaked around past a few guards as she loaded her bow, ready to end a person's life if she needs too. She circled around as she tried to be quiet as possible there were guards everywhere around this palace. She even tried to climb the walls but misserably failed as there was magic that encased the walls. It seems like as if the walls themselves never end.

But then, her way is cut off by a guard that caught her. Caylee tried to run past them but failed as they got a hold of her collar as they carried her back in with her squirming.

"Let me go!" Cayle yelled as she kicked and punched the guards but to no avail. The guards placed her down in front of the king who was speaking to the messenger who was informing him of such things that has happened outside these walls.

The king held his hand up to the messenger, signaling him to stop as he excused the messenger. He bowed as he walked away from this room.

"Hmm. . . What has happened here?" He asked as he looked at the guards with a harsh stare. The guards froze as they knew that the king wanted to know what happened here so badly.

"M'lord, the Princess was trying to escape the palace grounds." The first one said as he snapped out of trance.

"Hmm. . . Very well. This child has been rather troublesome after these years. She has learned how to rebel against her own father." The king said as he stared at his daughter with no emotion of such.

Caylee growled at his father, trying to hide the fact that she's hurt. Her father just glared at her as if she's not his daughter. Caylee stopped as she stood up and ran out of the court as she went to her room, her eyes tearing up.

When Caylee reached her room, she locked the door and went to her bed to cry out all of those tears that she has been holding in.

After a few minutes of crying, there was a knock on the door with a faint, "May I come in?" Caylee knew whose voice that was and replied with a yes.

As Ercole entered the room, Caylee immediately stood up from her bed and went to Ercole as she gave him a big hug. Ercole, who was surprised, just went with it and hugged Caylee.

Caylee then cried again on his shoulder as he comforted her through words.

"He never even cared for me. All he cared about was his fortune and the reputation that he has gained through all these years." Caylee sobbed. Ercole stayed silent as his anger built up inside of him. He kept it bottled up, in order to not start trouble.

For an hour, Ercole comforted Caylee as she told him all of her daily troubles which where they're routine. "Don't worry, I'll find a way to get you out of this place." Ercole whispered. Caylee looked at Ercole with disbelief as Ercole just smirked at her reaction.

"Really?!" Caylee asked, clearly excited. Ercole nodded at her as Caylee tackled him to a hug, forcing Ercole to fall onto the bed.

Caylee got up as Ercole did the same, they both faced each other at a close distance. They stayed quiet for a little while until Caylee turned red and rolled away. Ercole smirked as Caylee rolled side to side with her face hidden beneath her hands.
