Abstract2000: Okay severus, I'm just going to post matalicwolfsbane's whole comment because honestly I'm to lazy to break it up. aha. So here you go:
Tell Captain Snark over there (please include my use of the name Captain Snark) that: 1. I wouldn't stalk him because I'm not (that) crazy, and 2. Even if I did stalk him, he'd never know because I'm in the best house of them all - hiss, hiss, motherfücker. (Please include the 'hiss, his, motherfücker' part too.) Annnd onto my next question! So, Captain Snark, your friendship with Lucius Malfoy is well known, considering you're Draco's godfather. How did your friendship fare throughout the war(s) and did you notice a change in Lucius' views towards the end, or was he always stubbornly supportive of Voldy? I ask because the Malfoy family seemed to close ranks quite a bit in that final year and Lucius looked quite broken, as if he'd realised Voldy was more of a crackpot than a great leader. Do you think, given the opportunity, that the Malfoy Family (or at least some of them) would have joined the order in the end, as you did all those years ago, or would they have remained with Voldy-buttface?
The_Potions_master: Oh dear GOD! Merlin's bloody ball sack, I have to respond to all of That rubbish? Well shite. Let me finish this fire whisky then. I'll respond to that in a moment.
...
Where should I start? Ah, at 1 preferably yes? now;
1.) Not that crazy indeed. It would be suicide to try and stalk a spy
2.) Although I can agree that the Slytherin house is very sneaky, I highly doubt a muggle girl such as you could properly stalk me and not be noticed. And as for your fowl mouthed comment, I will chose to ignore the complete disrespect you just spat at MY house.
3.) Although I was indeed a friend of Lucius throughout my childhood, my loyalties towards the man slowly began to change aft... after she passed away. As he is almost entirely responsible for her death. If that blond coward had never dragged me into the clutches of the dark one, I would have never... never thought of... Hang on, where is my damn fire whisky. Give me a minute.
...
That man has and will always be a coward. He only ran at the end of the war because the winning side was changed. And he was not on that side.
4.) I believe young Malfoy Jr. would have eventually joined the side of the light. I was more of a father to that boy then Lucius ever was. And I believe Naressa would of switched as well for the safety of her son. Lucius was broken because yes, he realized he made the wrong choice and also that the old fool was in quite the pickle.
He had no choice but to remain on the dark side due to the fact that he had absolutly no where to go, and he couldn't "tarnish" the family name.
But lets face it, war changes perspectives. His held out till the last second. So what is that really saying of him? (rhetorical question)
Abstract2000: Thank you Severus. That was a lot and very enlightening.
