Draco's POV

I walked through the corridors but it was hard because of all the first years I saw a first year crying and I saw Hermione talking to the first year I walked behind them and over heard their conversation

Girl: Hermione I'm lost

Hermione: what's your name

Girl: I'm Kacy Keeling

Hermione: well Kacy what do you have

Kacy: potions

Hermione: okay follow me

They walked away while i went to defence against the dark arts

Hermione's POV

I was walking through the corridors when a girl from the first year came up to me

Girl: Hermione I'm lost

Hermione: what's your name

Girl: I'm Kacy Keeling

Hermione: well Kacy what do you have

Kacy: potions

Hermione: okay follow me

We walked to her class and she walked in but before she did she thanked me I smiled at her then I walked away to my class which is with Draco I mean Malfoy I walked to my class and saw Malfoy sitting on his own huh he's not usually on his own he's always with his friends

Professor Remus Lupin: oh Miss Granger welcome

Hermione: sorry professor I was showing a first year to her class she got lost

Professor Remus Lupin: okay Miss Granger sit next to Mr Malfoy

I sighed and then sat next to Malfoy he didn't look at me and I didn't look at him sir gave us a partner activity

Draco: hi Granger

Hermione: it's Hermione

Draco: yeah yeah whatever let's do this and we never speak again

Hermione: *rolls eyes*

I hate it when I have to be near him let alone work with him we started the work and what he said next really surprised me

Draco: gra.... Hermione

Hermione: yes

Draco: I'm sorry for all the things I've said and done to you can you forgive me

Hermione: is this a trick

Draco: no I promise

Draco's POV

When I told Hermione I was sorry and if she could forgive me she had a strange look on her face but when she asked me if me apologising to her a trick I am telling the truth it isn't I don't want to fight with her maybe Weasley and Potter but not Hermione she's done nothing wrong Weasley he stole the girl I liked .....

Hermione: so Draco

Draco: huh

Hermione: so you're not playing a trick

Draco: no Hermione I would never play tricks with you ever again like I said I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me because I don't want to keep hurting you because you've done nothing wrong

Hermione: oh well Draco I forgive you and if you want we can be friends

Draco: sure

Yes I'm friends with Hermione

Hermione: but don't tell Ron or Harry I know what they are like

Draco: I won't tell them I would never speak to a Weasley

Hermione: *smiles*

Draco: aren't you and Weasley dating

Hermione: *sighs* yeah

Draco: aren't you happy

Hermione: yeah 

Draco: you sure

Hermione: yeah
