Profanity ahead.

Aga was showering soft kisses on her face, with his hand encircled around her waist, causing her to open her eyes.

She smiled upon seeing Aga but she raised her eyebrow and shoved his face away.

He frowned, "Bakit?"

She shook her head.

He checked her arms, "Okay ka na ba? Do you want to eat na? I cooked breakfast for you."

She smiled, "I am. Thank you." she sweetly mouthed and lightly touched his cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I wasn't there with you yesterday. Aalis na sana ako sa meeting when I received Dawn's text pero sabi niya, you're already fine." he explained.

She sat down her bed, "Aga, ayaw kong makaabala ng tao, okay? And I know how important that meeting is. Okay naman na ako ngayon."

Aga frowned again, "Okay."

She eyed him. He did the same.

But he looked away and stood up, "Lalamig 'yong pagkain, Lei. Kain ka na."

She was left speechless. There's something wrong with Aga today. She shrugged it off and started praying.

-

When she got down, she saw Aga sitting, using his phone. He was wearing an unexplainable look on his face.

"Aga, are you okay?"

He looked at her, stood up and put his phone on his pocket. "I should be the one asking you that. Kain na?"

He walked towards her dining room.

"May problema ba?" she asked him again.

He weakly smiled and pulled out a chair for her, "Wala. Ano namang pwedeng maging problema?"

"Why are you acting like that?"

"Like what?" he answered.

"That."

"I don't get you."

She sighed, "I don't get you rin, Aga."

He shook his head and faked a smile again, "Lei, I'm fine, okay?"

It was now her turn to frown. He called her by her name twice, not with their endearment.

"Kain ka na. Papasok ka ba? Huwag na. You have to rest."

She sat down, "Papasok na ako."

"Huwag muna. Sayang naman 'yong pag-alaga ni Angelo sa'yo. Baka magkasakit ka lalo."

She looked at him and smirked, "I think I know now what the matter is."

He blankly stared at her, "Kain na."

She stood up and sat on his lap, encircling her arms around his neck, "Is it Angelo, babes?"

He didn't answer.

"Uy, nagseselos siya." she teased him.

"Hindi."

She moved her face closer to his, "Hindi talaga? Hindi ka nagseselos?"

"Hindi nga."

"Okay--" she stood up, "Kain na tayo."

He sighed and pulled her again. She fell on his lap again, "I am, babes. I am freaking jealous."

She giggled.

"Nagseselos ako. Dapat ako 'yong nag-alaga sa'yo, hindi siya. Did he hold you? Or did he hug you?"
