- how taehyung wrote a song ( a long letter) for her when she's gone about how dark his world had been without her, it isnt bright anymore as she is no longer here , but Taehyung have a little hope ( 'a small candle' ) in him to keep moving on

- Taehyung describes himself as the bird. Taehyung holds faith on the girl so he waited for her.( a metaphor about an american robin who sings when it could feel light even when the dawn is still dark.)

-Taehyung asked himself why is the girl crying? Did anything happen to her?
Following into the deep night,
The sound of you singing,
Brings the scarlet morning,
A step, and another step,
-( a metaphor of the darkest hour is before the dawn) Means the worst part of taehyung's life is when the girl weren't there (the girl is the dawn) . When she came into his life, (' the sound of you singing brings scarlet morning) , she gave Taehyung hope for better day.
The dawn passes,
And when the moon falls asleep
The blue shades that stayed with me disappears.
- but good things would come to an end, kind people doesnt live forever. One day, the girl wasn't there anymore.
Even today, I go on living just enough ,
I walk in pace, wearing my feet out just enough,
The sun suffocates me,
The world stripped me of all I have,
I can't help it, there's no way ,
- Taehyung describes his life when the girl is no more longer with him.
I collect myself that shattered beneath the moonlight,
I call you moonchild,
We are the child of the moon,
- Taehyung describes the girl as a moonchild as she gave hope to him (moonlight = hope). ' We are the child of the moon' means everyone existence gave hope and strength from to one another :) even when you don't realise it.
We breathe the cold night air of dawn,
Yes , we're livin and dying
At the same time,
- there's maybe hope in life, but in reality we are still hurt. 'Livin and dying at the same time' shows how meaningless one live their life.
But you can open your eyes for now,
Just like in the movie, like that dialogue,

- ( open your eyes for now = how taehyung wanted to tell himself to accept reality )
Underline words means;
The girl may show Taehyung happiness plastered on her face but deep down she's broken. But she didnt show. Why? So that she could give him strength and hope. And he didn't realise that, until she's gone.
