I stood on the tallest building in Gotham City. Unsure. It was dark outside, about 9:30pm. The streets fulled with cars racing home, or to work. My dark brown, long hair blew in the wind. I took a deep breathe. I stood on my tippy toes, closed my eyes, and whispered an enchantment, and my dark, black, angel wings appeared on my back. I bent my knees and took flight. I flew high, to avoid being seen. A smiled creeped up on my face. I missed flying. I flew over the city twice before getting tired. I landed on the same building. had my wings disappear. I sat at the edge, checking my iPhone for the time. 10. okay. He should be doing some fighting now. then I saw a figure swing passed me. Nightwing. I grinned from ear to ear. then he went into an alley to fight some gang bangers. I watched, like a total creep. He was amazing. Then he noticed me watching him from the top of the building. Shit. I got up quick and ran to the fire escape. But he stopped me on my tracks. damn.. Second time he caught me.
"Helloo~" I said all casual
"hi, curfew is 9:30, and its uhh *checks watch* 10." Nightwing replied staring at me
I avoided eye contact. "hehe, welllll you see....." I rocked back and fourth "I uhh, was uh looking.... for.. my pet cat!!!" I said with a fake smile
Nightwing shook His head "this is the second time I caught you walking around, someone can kidnap you Miss....
"Uh my name is Lia... Lia Gray" I lied looking down.
then Nightwing just walked me home then left. sigh. I walked in my house seeing drunk dad.
"hey Girl" he said to me.
"hello father" I said quietly and went to my room, on the second floor, got in my pjs and went to sleep. thinking about school tomorrow.
