Alvin and the Chipmunks: Alvin and Brittany Love Story

Part 3 - a thought that won't go away

The next morning 

Brittany was awake before Alvin so she slid out of bed and went towards the door for the bathroom. She had lots of strange thoughts in her head about what Alvin told her last night."I was wondering if we could have kids soon" played in Brittany head over and over again. 

Just then Jeanette entered the bathroom 

"Oh hi sister" said Jeanette 

"Hi, um...can I talk to you about something while everyone else is asleep?" Asked Brittany 

"Yea sure, what's wrong?" Asked Jeanette

"Well Alvin asked me last night...if we could have kids soon" said Brittany 

"What? No way Brittany please don't have kids this early in your life" said Jeanette sounding quite worried 

"What no, Jeanette I don't want kids yet neither, but Alvin asked me last night. I think he will keep asking me until I say yes we can have kids now" explained Brittany 

"Phew what a relief" said Jeanette "just tell Alvin you are not ready for kids yet and explain to him why your not, ok" she suggested 

"Ah ok then. Yes I will try that, thanks Jeanette" said Brittany with a smile on her face

As Jeanette was leaving the bathroom she called Jeanette back

"Jeanette, don't tell anybody else about what I have just told you will you?" asked Brittany

"No of course I won't tell anyone else" exclaimed Jeanette

10 minutes later

Brittany returned to the bedroom and Alvin was still asleep. She nudged him and he woke up saying "what? Who's there?"

"It's me silly" said Brittany 

"Oh right, morning" replied Alvin

"Um yea about last night Alvin, I have been thinking" Brittany started "I don't want to have kids yet, because I can't take care of them probably yet and neither can you really"

"Wait a minute we would be great parents, we would need some experience...but we would be great with them trust me Brittany" exclaimed Alvin

"No Alvin! not right now ok? We are not ready yet or responsible yet" she explained

"But Brittany, I love you and I really want to start a family with you, your beautiful to me" explained Alvin making Brittany blush

"I love you too, but not yet ok?" Suggested Brittany

"Oh ok fine" said Alvin "when then?" He asked

Brittany had finished with this talk, she was getting no where with him and he was not listening to her so she had to walk out of the room and end the talk quickly 

"I don't know, just when we are both ready, I do not want to talk to you about this anymore or get any questions about having kids any time soon" said Brittany in a cold tone before storming off out of the room

"Did I make her mad she doesn't seem to want kids yet and I think I pushed her by asking her too many times at once" Alvin though to himself
