Once Again

Part 2

Steve

I spend the day playing with the kids. They are all so precious, so wonderful. James told me many stories about my past, and Anthony told me how much they missed me while I was gone.

"Mommy was so sad, she couldn't sleep" Anthony told me. Oh my heart! My darling wife had to suffer so much because of me.

Margaret just lay on my chest, she was in a trance.

After dinner, Natasha put everyone to bed, Margaret was already asleep in my arms, I carefully lay her down in her bed. James and Anthony dug into their covers, and Natasha put the twins in their cot.

We kissed the children goodnight, and walked out.

We stood outside the room, she was a bit awkward.

"Uh!.. You.. we.. You don't mind sleeping in our room, right? " she asked very hesitantly.

Are you kidding me? Why would I refuse sharing the room with you? I have been waiting for this all day.

"Yeah, yeah of course, I don't mind, why would I? " I said, trying to hide my desperation.

She smiled, and we both entered our bedroom. I stared at the bed, so this was the place we must have made love many times, resulting in our beautiful children. The thought made me blush a little.

Natasha went to change, and I locked the door quickly. I walked over to the wardrobe, and pulled my pyjamas out after a little search. I didn't put on any shirt, not needed.

Natasha came out, wearing a red lace nightie, it exposed her chest to a great extend, her legs bare. She looked so beautiful, my stomach curled up, as I fought the urge to grab her.

"I.. don't.. have anything decent.. I'll put the gown on" she said, taking the silk gown from the couch.

"No, its not necessary" I said quickly, "Natasha, I am your husband, don't be awkward with me"

"I know, i just thought you might feel a but uncomfortable, since you don't remember " she said.

"I am very much comfortable, so leave it" I took the gown from her hand and left it on the couch.

"Come" I said, taking her hand, we both lay down on the bed, next to each other.

"Steve! " she said with teary eyes, and rushed into my arms, hugging my bare waist, and putting her head on my chest, I wrapped my arm around her waist, hugging her tight.

"I missed you so much, I couldn't sleep, I had those nightmares again, I was haunted, you are my peace Steve, without you I can't breathe " she said with sobs.

"Nat! Don't cry, I am here now " I said, "Go to sleep now, I am here, I won't ever leave you"

"You called me Nat? " she looked up smiling.

"Did I? I used to call you that? " I asked, she nodded.

"I love you" she said so lovingly, I wanted to crush her lips.

"I love you too" I said, kissing her forehead. She adjusted herself in my arms, and closed her eyes, and I held her close. Soon, she was in deep sleep.

I wanted to have a good time with her, but she was so hurt and tired, I just couldn't push her. I held her close, staring at her beautiful body. Her lips, her neck, her chest. Desire was all over my senses, but I have to wait.

I leaned in, to take her fragrance in, my hands traced her curves, gently, trying best, not to wake her. She moved a little, adjusting herself on my chest, which was like a pillow for her, and I didn't mind at all. She slept so peacefully, like she has always belonged here.

She put her leg on mine, curling up closer. My heart skipped several beats, so beautiful, so perfect. She was all mine.

I put my hand on her soft neck, an inexpressible sensation ran through me. Her skin, so soft, I was afraid if leaving a mark with the gentlest of touch.

Unable to bear it, I touched her lips with mine, and almost died. Wake up and let me kiss you, wake up and let me be sure you are only mine.

I should wait, my heart tried to convince me, she is asleep, she is so tired, she deserves some rest.

Convincing myself, I pulled her closer, and closed my eyes, I needed to sleep,
to calm my desperate heart.

We have all eternity to make love, she is forever mine, my wife, the mother of children, and the love of my life. So much, that even after forgetting everything, my love for her has only increased, I am all the more desperate for her.

I kept thinking of our beautiful life together, until sleep took over, and I was lost in dreams, where she ruled too.
