Smiles.

(Emma's POV)

I slowly walk over to the couch, picking up the box and staring at it. Then I got an idea.

I put the ring on my finger and start walking up the stairs. Hopefully he'll notice sit on my finger, and realize that I didn't mean to say no. I was shocked, and didn't expect it is all. I love him so much. I open the bedroom door to see her not in there. His office. I slowly open the door, to see him blankly staring at his screen. He looks up when I walk in and sighs. "Emma.." He says and I bite my lip, my hands behind my back.

"Dan, please listen to me okay?" I say and walk over to him. I noticed his ocean blue eyes were glazed with tears, making them look even more like an ocean. "I panicked.. It was sudden. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say yes but my mouth said something completely opposite. I love you, Dan." I say and I grab his hand, holding it in mine so he could see the ring. "Of course, I'll marry you." I say and at first he just stared at me, not saying anything. He probably doesn't wanna be with me anymore.. I fucked up. "I'm sorry.." I say standing up, but he grabbed my wrist.

"Emma.." He says and stands up. "God, I love you so much." He says pulling me into a hug. I hug him back, and chuckle. He was more like squeezing me to the point where I could just breath, but I didn't mind. "I love you.. I'm so sorry." I say tears slowly falling down my face. I could feel his chest shaking, and pull away to see he was crying. "Dan are you okay?" I ask, wiping my thumb across his cheek, wiping some tears away. "I thought you didn't love me, Em.. I was so scared.. And now I'm so happy and I can't my emotions are dead." He says a smile on his face.

I pull him back into a hug, resting my head on his shoulder. "Hey, let's go for a walk yeah?" I say to him and he smiles and nods. We on our shoes, and start walking down the street. I was bouncing with happiness as we were walking and Dan took notice to it quickly. "Love, are you alright?" He says with a chuckle and I nod. "I'm just.. I'm so fucking happy." I say. "Wowza. A cuss word. Yep your happy." He says and I smile. "I'm seriously so happy.

Don't you understand?" I say turning to look at him. "Yes, believe me I understand 100%." He says and I smile. "Good." I say softly.

(Dan's POV) [WOWZA DIDNT EXPECT THAT DID YA BDBSBSBS]

I'll admit. I was beyond happy, but I still had a bit of sadness in me from what happened. I honestly thought that she didn't love me as much as I loved her. It scared me. I watched her as she bounced around from happiness, and it made me smile. As we're walking towards a park, Emma gasps. "Yasss! Can we go to the park?" She asks, almost in a child like way. I smile and nod. "Why not?" I say and she grabs my hand, and starts running towards the park, catching me off guard.

"Woah!" I say with a chuckle as she let's go, and runs to the swing. "I Think I put toooo much sugar in my tea!" She says while giggling. "I don't mind." I say sitting in the swing next to hers. I didn't swing, just sat there, watching as Emma was swinging as high as she could go, that is until her motion sickness kicked in, and she ended up, leaning her head on me, calming down real quick. "Are you okay, Love.." I ask her softly. "I feel nauseous.. Bad idea.." She says and I frown. "Wanna go back to the house?" I ask her and she nods, standing up. I stand up, taking her hand in mine, intertwining our fingers.

"So I was thinking.. Tomorrow is gonna be hot out.. So you wanna go to the beach?" I ask and she looks at me with a small smile. "Of course, that's seems really fun. Plus, you need a break. I don't like when you stress." She says and I smile, pressing a kiss to her forehead. We get back to the house and I couldn't help but glance eat her finger, the ring making me smile. "Dan will you lay down with me..?" She asks and I nod.

"Of course I will, Love." I say. Words couldn't explain how much I loved her I swear.

(Emma's POV)

I lay down next to him, putting my head on his chest, and closing my eyes. "Are you okay?" I hear him ask and nod. "I just don't feel well.." I mumble. The sound of his heartbeat calmed me. Making me smile a bit. "Do you believe in love?" I ask him randomly. "Of course. I am in love. Do you?" He asks. "Before I met you I didn't, but you showed me what love is." I say and he chuckles, causing his chest to shake, which caused me to laugh.

"I'm glad." He says and I smile. "I am too. Because if not I'd be a lonely cat lady all my life, and I much rather be with you then 100 cats." I state and he chuckles, kissing my forehead. After that we were both silent, enjoying each others company. He was playing with my hair, and humming a random tune, as I had my eyes closed listening to him. By now, I'm guessing he assumed I was asleep. By now the nausea was gone, and I felt fine, but a but sleepy. "Do you want me to move so you can get up?" I ask Dan looking up at him.

"No.  I wanna lay here with you." He says and I smile and nod, resting my head back down. I close my eyes and after a few minutes of listening to Dan him and play with my hair, I eventually fell asleep into a wonderful sleep.

I honestly loved this chapter. Anyways! I have something VERY IMPORTANT to say. I wanna do one of those things where you ask the characters questions and they answer them(I have no clue what its called!) So comment questions for both Dan and Emma! They could be about anything! Bye:3
