Mitch's pov

"Mitch are you sure you wanna do this?" Jordan asked setting me down I shook my head I was about to say something when I heard Seto "what are you fucking crazy!" Seto yelled at me I look away he grabbed my face "Mitch! Stop it!" He said I sigh shakily "It was James! He was in my head I let him control me! I lost Jerome and I'm not letting my son lose his father so you either come or go back!" I yelled shakily.

He frowned and hugged me I hug back. He let's go and looked at Jordan who shook his head "don't be mad at me he convinced me too" he mumbled softly "I figured Mitch needed the help, Jerome might go into a frenzy" Jordan mumbled I frown I remember Jerome's mom, Seto and Ian talking about it.

"What is that? I remember you saying something about that Seto!" I say they both looked at each other "it's when the other part of the hybrid loses control, they break they get pushed to their limit sometimes it's deadly, dangerous or self-destructive it depends on the hybrid" Seto says I look at Jordan who nods "it's true I'm dangerous" he mumbled Seto sighed "self destructive and Jerome is deadly and dangerous" he adds I frown.

"And that's caused by him breaking his bond with me?" I asked Seto shaking his head "No, not all the time, sometimes it's due to a sudden change in emotion, heartbreak, death of their mate" Seto mumbled "once they're in they can never come out of it" Jordan adds.

I huff and keep walking I need to make sure Jerome is okay. "You promise my son will be okay?" I asked Jordan "of course, Dad took him somewhere safe" he says I nod and stopped when I saw Jerome and James fight.

Jordan was right he didn't look like himself. He looked more rabid and scary. Every glimpse of him made me scared his eyes were a neon yellow "we have to help him" I say noticing the blood I noticed the rest of the villagers. I saw his mom shake the chief yelling at Jerome who froze looking over. I teared up "No" I mumbled shakily about to run when Jordan and Seto stop me.

Jerome started his attack again and this time James couldn't keep up I flinched Jerome cut an arm off making me back up slightly Seto held on to me "Jordan can he be calmed down?" I ask shakily he tenses "Dad said he's never seen anyone come back from it  " he mumbled I frown "they get this surge of power that's just too much for them" he says I flinch seeing Jerome hit him again and this time his followers tried to stop him.

Jerome knocked them down and hit James over and over yelling each time I whined seeing Ian trying to stop but couldn't I whimpered and ran towards Jerome ignoring the pain I was feeling.

This time his mom stopped me "that's not Jerome anymore don't get near him!" She yelled I whimper "I don't care" I say pulling away grabbing the sword from Jerome he growled at me I grab his face wiping the blood from his face "come on Jerome stop it, whatever you were after you did it" I mumble shakily his growls getting louder.

I whimper I looked at his eyes so clear with no emotion "Jerome we have a son" I whine feeling his grip tightening on me "He's so precious and looks like you, he needs you" I say "You may hate me but I need you " I flinch his fingers digging into me Jordan about to jump in I stopped him.

"I do love you! It wasn't a lie! James was in my head and it got too much I tried to fight it! I did I tried my hardest for us but I was scared! I'm so sorry I'm so useless Jerome our baby doesn't need me, he needs you!" I say hugging him tightly. "Please come back Jerome! I'll take the hatred you have for me if you just come back!" I yelled shakily.

Jerome's grip loosened going limp on me he fell on top of me I whined out crying out holding on to him passing out too.

-Time skip few days-

Seto's pov

"Ian, how are feeling?" I ask feeling his forehead he was burning up. I redid his bandages on his chest and stomach, he whined "I'm fine I need to go to cheif Aceti's funeral" he says sitting up flinching in pain I stop him "we will my prince but you need to rest your wound will reopen" I say gently letting my hands glow to calm him down he huffed "I'm fine you should be checking on Jerome and Mitch" he says I gently kiss his forehead he whined "I should have been able to keep the cheif safe and I couldn't!" He yelled shakily. I hold his face.

"Mitch just had to go back into surgery to close up his wound and he's fine he already woke up and he's sitting with Mrs. Aceti who are both waiting for Jerome to wake up and so far Jerome is okay his fever broke but we still have him tied up" I mumble softly he looked away "my prince you did everything you could " I mumble softly holding his hand.

He kept his gaze  "I guess but it doesn't feel like that" he mumbled leaning on me I gently kiss his hand "will Jerome be okay?" He asked I tensed "not sure we'll have to see even Herobrine was surprised " I mumbled softly he sighed and kissed my cheek.

After a bit he passed out I smile gently laying him down kissing his cheek. I leave the door open heading down to Jerome's room I peak in seeing everyone asleep.

"Seto?"

I look over seeing Preston I smile tiredly "you okay?" He asked I nod "yup everything going okay?" I ask he nods "it helps a lot that Jordan and Herobrine are pitching in" he says I nod and sigh "please come get me if something comes up" I mumble rubbing my eyes and heading back to my room.

I head back and see Ian still asleep I whine and carefully get into bed Ian instantly brings me close to him. I blush and smile snuggling close to him slowly falling asleep.

Mitch's pov

I opened my eyes hearing whimpering I quickly and carefully got up to get the baby. "Shh, I know" I mumble holding him close as I sat down grabbing my phone to text Tyler to make a bottle.

I looked over at Jerome who was still asleep everyone was shocked that I was able to calm him down but of course, we had to tie him up just in case. "Mitch" I tensed hearing Herobrine I looked over "I think I need to set some rules about you teleporting in" I mumble looking back at Jerome.

"Actually I walked in you just didn't hear the door" he says and handed me a bottle I tense "I was in the kitchen with Jordan when you texted Tyler, plus I was curious" he mumbled softly I took the bottle "about?" I ask "in all my life I've never seen anyone calm down a hybrid who'd lost himself. How did you do that?" He asked I scrunch my face looking at Jerome "you're telling me that if something like that happened to Jordan you wouldn't try? Or to Steve you wouldn't try?" I ask softly looking down at the baby.

"That's not what I'm saying, of course I'd do anything " he quickly said "it's my fault anyway, he told me once that we're a team and we should work together, I thought it was stupid to talk but the more I sit here and think the more I think he's right" I mumble "I knocked him on the ground and I broke his heart he had no one to help him back up- didn't help that he did have someone to blame and he just took his emotion and ran with it" I say softly.

"What are you going to do if he wakes up and you have to tell him about his father?" He mumble softly, I sighed pulling the baby closer to me as he finished eating. "I guess just help him back up" I mumbled back shakily and got up "I guess so" he mumbled I shakily whine out laying the baby in his crib.

"Baby needs a name" he mumbled "I'm waiting until Jerome wakes up" I say he sighed "Okay" he mumbled "I'll send Tyler up" he says teleporting out "walked in my ass" I mumbled to myself I lean my head on the bed sighing shakily "I would do anything to hear your voice again" I quietly say "Just like you said you'd do anything to see me smile, how can I smile if you're not here" I say hugging his free arm gently tracing his bandages.

I gently held his hand rubbing his hand leaned back on my chair falling asleep.
