The Bad Boy Stole My Thong

There's a snake in my bed

                It's Saturday so we are going to the beach. We spent the rest of last night eating dinner and playing games, it was a blast. We are all getting ready to go; Grace and Katie are already dressed so they are packing a lunch. I finished braiding my hair and put on my bikini (picture in media). I grabbed my white lace cover up and put it on. I grabbed my sunglasses while slipping on my flip flops and walked out to the kitchen. Katie zipped up the cooler and Grace finished packing the beach bag with towels and blanket and sunscreen. We waited a few minutes till everyone else was done and headed to the cars. Adelle, Liv, Manda and I were all taking my jeep and the other four were in Garrets truck. I pulled out of the garage and closed it then we were off to the beach.

               Once we got there we set up the blankets and umbrella. I kicked my flip flops off and sat on the blanket watching the water. I grabbed the sun screen and applied it; don't want skin cancer ya know. I helped Dellie and we watched Garret and Max build a sand castle. We all laughed when a huge wave knocked it over. Max picked up Grace and ran into the water with her while she screamed. Garret did the same to Katie then Max and Garret headed over to get us. I jumped up and ran and dove into the water, I'd rather do it by choice rather than force. Max grabbed Adelle and Garret grabbed both Amanda and Liv.

            "MAX PUT ME DOWN OR I SWEAR I'LL PUT SNAKES IN YOUR BED AND RUIN YOUR HAIR GEL!" Adelle screamed thrashing. I watched laughing and looked over and saw Garret getting hit and punched by the twins. They got in the water and dropped the three down. Adelle screamed and Liv and Amanda squealed. I was laughing so hard I didn't notice a wave and it knocked me down. The others started laughing at me and I laughed with them.

         We spent about five hours at the beach before we decided to dry off and head to a pizza place that was down the street. I put my shorts and tank top on over my bikini and we all headed to the cars. We parked at the pizza place and got out. Grace was on Max's back half asleep and Katie was talking with Garret. We walked in and got a table; while we were waiting I looked around and gasped. I poked Adelle and pointed to Daniel and his group. She gasped and got the rest of the group's attention. They saw what we were looking at and were surprised too. Grace started whispering to Max to calm him down while Katie kept a strong grip on Garret's arm. Liv and Amanda stood in front of me to block their view of us.

         "They knew we were coming to the beach this weekend. I saw Kevin texting while we were discussing it during class." Liv said and I groaned slouching against Adelle. She patted my head then the waitress led us to our table which happened to be right fudging next to theirs. I hit my head on Adelle's shoulder whining softly. Adelle grabbed my hand and squeezed it to comfort me, I smiled at her.

          "This is why you are my bestest friend." I laughed and hugged her. Adelle laughed and hugged me back.

          "Hey!" The other six pouted at me.

           "Awe I love you guys too but Adelle is my one and only." I stuck my tongue out laughing. I stopped laughing when I noticed Daniel looking directly at me. Adelle glared at him and Max flipped him off.

            "Mind your own fucking business Smith!" Garret yelled at him and would've gotten up if Katie hadn't been holding onto him so tightly. Daniel frowned sadly at me, his eyes looked full of regret then looked away. I scrunched my eyebrows together and looked at the menu. After we ordered we all talked about summer plans.

          "I'll be back." I said while getting up and walked to the bathroom. On my way back I felt someone grab my arm and pull me out of sight of the dining area. I turned to see Daniel looking at me sadly.

          "Kayleigh, please hear me out." He pleaded letting go of my arm. I glared at him.

             "And why would I?" I asked backing away.

           "Because I didn't want to hurt you. Genevieve was blackmailing me, she threatened to hurt you unless I did what she told me to for a week. I couldn't let her hurt you, please believe me Kay." He pleaded. That does sound like something she would do, she has hated me since sixth grade, I don't really know why though. But at the same time Daniel knows she doesn't like me and could be using that to his advantage and lying.

         "I-I I don't know Daniel. I just I don't know. How can I trust you when I saw it happen." I mumbled. He sighed sadly.

        "I know. I'm really sorry Kayleigh. But if you can't trust me about this just listen and trust me this once don't trust Lilith. She isn't good news, she'll hurt you." He said looking me in the eyes.

          "Is this all this about? You're jealous because you messed up and I found someone else that will actually care about me? Ugh I can't believe you!" I pushed him away and stormed back to the table. Everyone looked at me then saw Daniel walking back to his table. Max got up and stormed over to him.

          "WHY CAN'T YOU LEAVE HER ALONE? SHE IS DONE WITH YOU!" He punched Daniel in the face. We all gasped and Grace got up to get Max. Daniel just looked down and didn't fight back. Grace pulled Max back to the table and sat him down. Jordan rushed over to Daniel and held a napkin to his bloody nose. Kevin and Dylan were about to get up to attack Max when Daniel shook his head no at them. Their group left after paying and I explained what happened between Daniel and me.

           "I mean Lilith did start a fight with him. She could be using you to hurt him. He clearly still cares about you. She could be using that to her advantage." Garrett reasoned. A few of the others nodded.

            "And that does sound like a Genevieve move." Adelle said and the others agreed. I groaned and put my head on the table.

         "Now I feel awful. But I don't know about the Lilith situation, he clearly doesn't like her either. He could be lying to get me to hurt her." I muttered "Can we just talk about this later? I'm over it right now." The others nodded and we finished dinner while goofing around.
