The Şong of Śpeech

I sing a song

      I've never heard before

But I remember it anyway   ↩

     Because pain has no gender

And saddness is universal.

Loneliness is a language
That the deaf can speak

And even the blind sees
The need to be wanted

What is it with my life

       Is it haunted?

Or is it the things I seek?

Abstract neccessities
Out of reach

Tangible barricades
Have been breached

And I can wish no longer
For greatness

In my eternity

Having heard The
Confessions of speech As too few hear

The riffs of its melodic plea

Use me well
Create peace

For sky
   The moon
       and the meek

Hear my humble cry
And spare me your irate verbosity

Lest my tastebuds caress your plate

You take a life away
     Between clenched teeth
When you form the word hate

Surely there is better for me still

Taste her skin
And melt the chill of cream
Abandon your bullies
      Why make children scream

Stick me out into the rain
And hold me front and centre

, responsible for her laugh ,

Im yet to dry under the mist of a draft

Allow me to be
    The warmth of a scarf
The soul of every broken heart
                   Aches after.
