I woke up and sighed loudly, the weight of my pounding head causing me to groan. I looked over at Jason who hadn't left last night like I expected him to. He looked so peaceful when he slept. I clenched my stomach still in pain. I ran to the bathroom and threw up yet again just like I had been doing on and off all night. What the hell was wrong with me? I thought. I shrugged and sat on the bathroom floor. I crawled back into my room and glanced at the clock, 3:12am. I snuggled back into Jason's arms which woke him up.

He looked at me and smiled, "You doing okay blue eyes?"

I nodded, "Yeah I'm okay..." I trailed off grabbing my stomach again. I closed my eyes to try and stop my head from pounding.

"You need me to go get you some medicine. Aspirin?" I nodded very slightly and I felt him get off the bed and into the bathroom to look for the medicine. After a brief moment, I felt the bed sink as he sat down next to me. He helped me sit up and handed me a bottle of water with an aspirin. I mumbled a soft "thank you" before I swallowed the asprin and drank the full water bottle.

"Thirsty Scar?" He said laughing quietly taking the empty bottle and setting it on the floor beside the bed. I nodded and snuggled back into his arms. I felt his cold hand against my forehead. He got out of bed once again. I felt cold and lonely without his body there. I was thankful when he laid back down and gently stuck a thermometer in my mouth. This didn't phase me as I sat there in his arms waiting for it to beep. Finally it did. 102.1 read the little blue screen. I groaned and rolled back over. All of the sudden my back hurt. Assuming it was just back cramps from my period I mentally made a note. What was today....May 23rd. It was Tuesday..so technically I should've started my period 5 days ago. I pushed the thought aside and focused on Jason.

"You're really not in the condition to go to school." He said quietly rubbing my back. I sighed and shook my head a little.

"I..I don't have any finals today...but I..I do tomorrow." I choked out dreading even the thought of school.

"Well unfortunately I have my last final today. So I'll have to go to school, but during lunch I'll call and check up on you. You just need to stay home and rest."

I didn't bother arguing with him. He was so caring and sweet to me. I rolled over back towards him and kissed his forehead and mumbled another thank you. He wrapped me in his arms and began gently singing to me. I fell asleep in his arms yet again.

I was woke up by the sound of my phone loudly vibrating on my desk. I jumped up and grabbed it checking the caller ID before I answered it.

"Hello?" I said, my voice still groggy from sleeping.

"Morning sleeping beauty, you finally wake up?" I smiled from the sound of his voice.

"Actually you woke me up. Thanks a lot." I joked, I could sense him smiling from the other line.

"Eh you needed to be up anyways." He joked right back. I laughed a little, walking back to my bed and sitting back down on it.

"How are finals?" I asked.

"They're finals. Going pretty well for me."

"That's good. That's crazy that it's your last day." I said thinking about him going off to college. Just the thought of him being away for that long saddened me.

"I know, it seems like only yesterday I was one of those pathetic scared freshman."

I laughed yet again sighing loudly. Before I could say anything else he said, "Hey lunch is almost over. You need me to pick you up anything on the way back to your house?" I thought about it for a moment. You know, pickles sounded really good.
