||Your P.O.V||

"Okay so the streamers should go out back along with the confetti machine" I said to my friend Robbie, he was helping me plan my boyfriend Devontae a surprise party and we were all super close so I'm sure Devontae didn't mind us hanging together without him being around.

"Wait so are we gonna wait out back to say surprise to him or wait inside?" Robbie asked me "ermm.... outside that's where the confetti is" I said smiling "oooh what if we have a few people say surprise inside and then he comes out side even more people will say surprise to him,a double surprise he won't expect!" Robbie said excited at his own idea.

"Ohhhhh that's a great idea Robbie" I said excitedly I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek, now I know that seemed a little over the top but I don't do this often it was a little thank you I didn't mean it in any other way I only loved Vontae and Robbie was like my older brother and he had a girlfriend too.

I let him go and I was about to say something to him but I heard someone clear their throat behind us and we both looked in that direction.

"So you were watching​ the basketball game huh?" He smirked bitterly I was speechless I didn't know what he was trying to get at. Then he looked towards the TV "nothing on the screen" he looked fake confused then he crossed his arms "how you watching the game on a blank TV screen huh DD?" He asked "Vontae you know better than that we were just -" Robbie tried to explain "I know better than what? You wanted alone time with ya girl I get it" Devontae said and that's when I got madd confused.

I got up quickly"Wait what I'm not his 'girl' I'm yours" I said "nah you not mine if you were his hand wouldn't have been on your thigh and you wouldn't have kissed his cheek like that" he said un amused "what're you talking about that was nothing" I said slightly angry that he was tryin to accuse me of cheating.

"So you two in a house alone,said you were watching a game,I come in you're kissing his cheek,and his hand is on your thigh.... That's nothing?" He said looking down at me.

"Well I admit it did look a little off b-" Robbie mumbled In the background comedically "shut up Robbie" I groaned "look we weren't actually watching the game but we weren't hooking up either" I said looking at Devontae "so what were you doing exactly?" He asked.

"Planning your surprise birthday party" I said but Devontae still wasn't believing me "show him the confetti machine Robbie" i said I looked behind me and Robbie showed him the machine I hid in my closet then I looked back at Devontae "see?" I said. Devontae shrugged "doesn't mean you didn't hook up in between times" he said "okay Vontae are you being serious right now it's been a whole two months together and I ain't never stepped out on you,you know me better than I know myself so you know when I'm lying so honestly right now tell me do you actually think I cheated on you with Robbie?" I said a little heated.

Devontae looked behind me at Robbie and then at me, I looked into his deep chocolate brown eyes and I knew deep down he knew I was telling the truth. He sighed and rubbed his fingers through his hair then brought me in for a hug I gladly Excepted​ it "I'm sorry DD and I'm sorry Robbie....I let my jealousy get the best of me and I ruined the surprise" he said I let him go and looked at him "don't worry you can help us plan now so we'll know exactly what you want and just act surprised" I said grabbing his hand and bringing him to the couch and I sat on his lap looking through a catalog.

"Aye but no more kisses on the cheek unless I'm present alright?" Devontae said.

"Got it" me and Robbie both said at the same time laughin.
