Chapter Thirty-Five

We were alreAdy pass toll pay.it was bright and hot outside.i was so happy.all my close friends and family was here having a good time.this was a time I missed my mother.i missed her more than anything.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by someone calling my name.

"Lay why you crying"my bro jay said.i didn't even relise I was crying.i already knew why.

"Momma...just thinking bout her"I said looking down at my feet.everyone got quite.what no one knew but me,jay,and daddy was that I was in that car with momma when we got in that accident.i just couldn't hold it in anymore....I just wanted to get it off my chest.

"When my momma died...I was in that car with her"I started to say.my dad's and jays face looked surprised.they didn't want anyone to know.

"I had a Brocken arm and nose....I saw so much blood I saw lights....my mom was just laying there....lifeless....it should've been me....I really didn't mean much I was only 3...new to the world my mom had to much to live for.....I still think that...no...I still know that"I said crying and crying.everyone was sitting there quite.i felt jake pull me close and dad and jay rub my back.i couldn't stop crying.i finally stopped.

"Lay it's not your falt...you do mean everything.....your mom wouldn't wanna live if you died....you meant the world to her...both of you did" my dad said talking to me and jay.

"Lay what was that song momma used to sing to us for nap time"jay said.we started singing it.

We sung together.we can sing.we both smiled and laughed.everyone had a smile on Their face again.we eventually got to our spot.we set up.we All got out if our dry clothes and ran to the water.it was Cold at first so we got the boys to throw us in. The babies made sand castles.jake and jay got some water guns for every body and we all ran around spraying each other.we all swam for a while then played hide and go spray. If we found each other we had to spray. The babies started to fall asleep after they ate so we all packed up and left. Every one was falling asleep 1 by 1.me and jake was the only ones still awake.
