Sarah woke up in the terminal, surrounded by Toby and her father. "Sarah, you were out for hours!" Toby screamed. "Hush, Toby. She was only out for half an hour." Sarah grabbed her father's hand and rose up from her makeshift bed. Sarah was still puzzled as to what caused her to pass out. She kept looking for him. "Sarah, we need to go home. I know you must be exhausted but we need to plan for the funeral." her father replied. Sarah shook her head. Toby grabbed her bags and Sarah carried Ludo's kennel. All three walked to a van that was provided by the airport so go back home. "Hello, my name is Stanley and I'll be driving you to your destination. Where am I taking you?" Sarah's father gave Stanley the address as Toby and Sarah were loading the bags. Throughout the car ride, they were all silent with the exception of the radio. Sarah began to drift to sleep. Again, she was greeted with bright light. "What do you want from me?" The light didn't respond. Suddenly, darkness. "H-H-Hello? Is anyone there?" she asked. She began crying and slumped to the floor. "Please. Is anyone there? Please. I'm so scared." Sarah expected a response but nothing. "You did this to yourself. You didn't want me as I wanted you. I'm here to take you. One way or another, Sarah, I will have you. I will burn towns to find you. I will destroy anyone that intercepts us being together." Sarah looked up to see a white barn owl flying above her with crystal balls floating around. A ball floated towards Sarah to reveal a vision of her dancing with Jareth. "Sarah, I love you. I want you as my bride. Stay here with me." Sarah looked into Jareth's eyes and replied, "Of course I will. I love you too." Sarah wrapped her arms around Jareth and kissed his thin and cold lips. "Sarah, wake up." Toby said. Sarah awoke to see her childhood home, with lanterns to light her way to the home. Her father, Robert, was tipping the cab driver. Ludo was released to run around the yard and made his way to the porch. "You miss this?" Toby asked. Sarah shook her head yes. As she walked to the entryway of her home, she remembered the argument she had with her stepmother, Irene, concerning babysitting Toby.

Flashback (10 years ago)

"Sarah, you're an hour late." Irene scolded. "I said I'm sorry." Sarah replied.  "Please let me finish! Your father and I go out very rarely--" "You go out every single weekend!" Sarah interrupted but Irene continued. "--and I ask you to babysit only if it won't interfere with your plans." Sarah replied, "Well how do you know, you don't know what my plans are. You don't even ask me anymore!" "Well I assume you'd tell me if you had a date. I'd like it if you had a date. You, you should have dates at your age."

Present Day

Sarah immediately went to her old room, expecting that Irene remodeled her room into a spare closet but that was the case. Her room stayed trapped in time. It was clean and dusted. Her room was intact. As she placed her luggage on the floor, Sarah saw her favorite bear, Lancelot on the bed. "Oh Lancelot." Sarah grabbed the bear and gave a tight hug. "I missed you." she whispered. Toby walked in and smiled. "When Mom was in her final days, she insisted that she would clean your room. She did love you Sarah. She really did. She vacuumed, dusted and she even bought another mattress for you. From top to bottom, she ran over this room herself." Sarah didn't realize that her stepmother did love her. Sarah left home because of her. Why didn't she say her true feelings? "Dad wants to go eat out at this steakhouse tonight. I'm gonna go and get ready. You should also." Toby left the room and closed the door. Sarah began to get a dress to go out for the evening from her suitcase. As she was laying her clothes out, something fly out in her direction. It was a small red book which is titled, "Labyrinth". Sarah looked through the book and saw the quote she would repeat in the park. Sarah smiled and confidently repeated it out loud. "Give me the child. Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered, I have fought my way here to the castle beyond the Goblin City to take back the child that you have stolen. For my will is as strong as yours and my kingdom is as great. You have no power over me." Shedding a tear, Sarah smiled and left the book open on the desk, not knowing the real power those words contained.
