Chapter 13

The door gets opened by someone and I hear voices coming towards me as I sit calmly on the couch. I've been awaiting their arrival for quite some time.

"Did you seriously have enough money to spend on a house for thirteen people?" A deep voice asked; Chen.

"Dude." I'd recognize this voice anywhere. Chanyeol's voice. "I own a restaurant."

"Did Chaejin help pick it out?" Suho's kind voice rang out as they're getting closer to me.

"No, she fully picked it out."

It's been about four hours since Chanyeol and I woke up. Everyone had the day off so Chanyeol and I looked at houses for sale that were big enough to house thirteen people. We also sold everybody else's things and apartments and bought them new furniture, like the couch, while everyone else went shopping.

"This place is already amazing, Channie." Baekhyun says as they turn the corner to where I can see them all.

They're all looking around the walks gawking as Chanyeol walks to me and sits beside me on the couch. I curl up beside Chanyeol and he puts his arm around me.

"So, you all like our new place?" I say making Baekhyun, Sehun, Tao, Suho, Xiumin and Lay jump.

Everyone nods as they come closer to the couch. They all sit down on the comfy, black couch.

"I figured you all would. Every room is already furnished." I smile.

"This is so comfy," Kai says closing his eyes. "I'm thirsty but I don't want to get up." He groans.

I look over at him as I hear a weird sound but Kai was gone. A few seconds later, I hear the sound again and Kai is back.

"Woah," He said quietly.

"What happened, Kai? Where'd you go?"

"I teleported to the fridge and back," He says, surprise evident in his voice.

"It's not really surprising anymore," Suho says. "Not when we all get a power."

"I bet Sehun's is something bittersweet," Luhan says. "Something that can be nice but can also harm things."

"The question is, what is Chaejin's?" Baekhyun smirks.

"I bet her's will be cooler than all of ours." Kai smiles.

"Kai, the back of your right hand is glowing blue," I say nonchalantly.

He looks at the back of his right hand and soon enough it stops glowing to reveal a weird looking triangle. The weird sound comes again. It almost sounds like a poof. It happens again as Kai appears near my face and shows me his symbol then the sound happens two more times as he returns to his original spot.

"I think we should go on a walk and maybe have a race tomorrow using powers to get a hang on them better." I look at everyone as I stand up, getting out of Chanyeol's grasp.

They all groan and slump down, except Suho who stands up excitedly.

"I agree with the princess. We need to go buy some food anyway." he smiles.

"Food? Count me in!" Tao jumps up.

Everyone slowly stands up and follows after Suho mentions food. I smile and start walking happily to the door. Once at the front door, I opened it and hold it for all the guards. They all thank me as they walk out, resuming conversations and what not. All except one, that is. The youngest guard thanks me then looks down at his feet. I close and lock the door then run and catch up with Sehun.

"What's up?" I ask him.

"What? Oh, nothing princess."

"If you're upset about not getting a power yet, don't worry. I know you'll get yours sometime today. You just have to be patient." I smile.

"You think I'll get one?"

"I know you will."

"Where are we going, princess?" Tao asks.

"Kai is going to take us to his cafe since I am thirsty and haven't been there." I smile.

Kai looks back at me and returns my smile.
