Taylor

"Open up!" Julio banged on the door. I chuckled & opened it up to see his ugly scarred face with a cigarette flopping from his lip.

"Here," I shoved it in his face.

"What the hell is this?" he asked in disgust.

"A cheque," I had a smug look.

"Since when have you started handing out cheques?" he spat.

"Since I got hit by a car yesterday & was giving hush money not to open a case that's what," I smirked.

"Alright. Your debt is lifted. You coming to Georgie's tonight?" he asked.

"Nah. I gotta go," I paused as I thought because I knew if he found out I was going to church he'd disown me, "stay here because a bunch of people are coming over to buy some stuff."

"Oh. Well we're gonna miss you tonight. But come to the one tomorrow night at Jerry's," he nodded & left.

"Phew," I huffed & got ready for the house of the Lord.
