The angel bowed on one knee before God Almighty. His hands fidgeted as he grew nervous under the Lords gaze. He had been summoned from his small hut amongst the clouds by Gabriel himself. Now he bowed before God as he waited for the man to speak.
"I have called you here because I am appointing you a human to guard on Earth." He said and His voice boomed throughout the small golden room they were in. "She has been through tragedy and I fear that Lucifer has something even more horrible planned. I want you to go down to Earth and protect her with your life." God finished and the angel looked up.
"May I ask her name?" The winged man asked with pure politeness.
"Her name is Penelope Hart but she goes by as Penny. Here is her file. You shall read it on your way down to Earth. Any questions?" God asked but his voice warned the angel not to ask anything.
"No sir." The guardian said with a kind smile as he took the file from the Lords outstretched hand.
God Almighty snapped his fingers and the angel heard a woosh before he was free falling towards earth. He landed right outside of Penny's house.
