Chapter 14: Just Me, You, and the Moon

That same night me and Soda decided to go out for the night.

"So, where we headed?" I ask. "Not sure, I was just planning on walking around, doing whatever comes up" he says. "Well isn't that lovely" I smile. "Sure is" he smiles back. I look at the sky, sunset is almost here.

"Soda, why don't we go up that tall hill right there and watch the sunset" I say. "I love sunsets, let's go" he takes my hand.

We go up the surprisingly tall hill and watch the sunset. The colours, they're so beautiful. Then what seemed like hours of sitting, it's gone, until tomorrow. Now the bright moon and the beautiful stars have come out.

My eyes stare at the stars above, the world is a beautiful place, sometimes.

Sodas POV:
We look at the stars and moon. I look over at Y/N.

Wow. Her eyes are sparkling as she looks at them. I laugh quietly. She's just like Pony.

I look back up at the stars and lay down.

Y/N's POV:
Soda lays down on the grass. I lay down, with his arm over my shoulder. We both look at the beauty of the sky.

I look at Soda, he catches me staring at him, but I don't look away. We look into each other's eyes.

We both slowly lean in and...

We kissed.

Just like that. It was so passionate and meaningful, even for such a small kiss. We look at each other again. Then we kiss more and smile. We pull away and smile at each other.

"I love you..." Soda says.

"I love you too" I say.

We both smile. I snuggle up to Soda and he cuddles me in his arms. I really do love him, I know it. I get a thought, what about Dal? Does he like me? Or am I just a friend?

Thinking about my thoughts and laying in Sodas arms made me tired. I ended up falling asleep in his arms. It was so warm, so, so, peaceful.

Dally's POV:
I walk up the hill they were laying on to tell Y/N I finished teaching Jacob.

When I get there, my heart broke into so many pieces. They were kissing each other, and Y/N was enjoying it. I feel tears... my heart aches. She doesn't love me, I get a feeling.

Both anger but... sort of a... depressed... even...

Suicidal...
