Two weeks later, I saw you with a cup of coffee, sitting at our usual table.

When I reached you, you immediately got up.

"Let's go somewhere different today."

As we walked, you told me about your trip, and I listened to your every word, enjoying your voice.

You led us to a park, and we sat down on a bench.

We decided to buy some drinks from a vending machine nearby.

It didn't have hot chocolate, so I got some tea for myself, and you got coffee, as usual.

When we sat down again, you said,

"Can I ask you a question?"
