Secrets, secrets;

are no fun.

Secrets, secrets;

hurt everyone.

Those words: once playful and taunting,

now seem rather haunting...

Childhood is often a lovely daze,

and when it's gone, you're faced with reality.

A very harsh reality...

It all seems like a lie.

But there is truth in those words.

How amazing would the world be,

if all our flaws were laid on the table?

There would be no pain or suffering,

because the whole world would be there to support you.

No one would be bitter,

and everyone would learn to accept--both themselves and others.

After all, tragedy brings people together.

What's so wrong with our flaws anyway?

What makes you regret them so much?

What makes you fear them?

What makes you deny them?

We repress them, only making it worse.

Why not accept them?

If you openly talk about your struggles,

you could be seen as an attention seeker.

If you hide them,

we all suffer in silence.

Why not just put it out there?

I'm tired of lying--

I refuse to regret.

I refuse to fear.

I refuse to deny.

I refuse anything but the truth.

After all, regret is simply a mistake we have chosen not to learn from.

After all, fear is simply something we chose to believe--whether we have reason to or not.

After all, to deny is simply to choose not to come to terms.

Ultimately, the truth is simply the truth--cold, solid, real, and all too beautiful.

It remains completely untainted,

while surrounded by a decaying world.

It's time to find justice within ourselves.

We don't live in a world of deceptions,

We are the deception.
