Lauren's POV "Morning baby" Chance said and left a kiss on my back before spooning me "Morning. I don't want to get up" I groaned "You have to, sorry but your orientation is today" Chance said and kissed below my ear "Ugh I know" I groaned again "It won't be that bad babe, you'll probably make new friends" he smiled "Can you let me get up" I laughed "Oh yeah that might help" he realized "Oh yeah" I joked and got dressed doing neutral makeup

"Cutie" Chance said hugging me and pecking my lips "I gotta go. See y'all in a few hours" I said walking out the door to my car "Ok, directions" I said talking to myself And then I was off to orientation The front desk lady smiled at me as soon as I parked my car and shit "What's your name hun" she asked "Lauren Kennedy" I smiled She handed me a VIP pass and I walked in to see a ton of different booths for clubs and stuff Well, I'm already in a sport in the spring so any club then is shot "Any music groups" I asked myself Then I saw something about being in a choir but I don't like all the music they sing and it goes year round so I decided no "Maybe clubs aren't my thing" I thought I also saw some upperclassmen at orientation and the guys kept looking at me weirdly "Dorm 150" I whispered looking at my lanyard and I opened it to see a very big space so I assume I have a dormate which I'm both excited and nervous for at the same time I saw the beds and stuff and I knew it would need decorating "Are you my dormate" a blonde girl asks politely when she walks in "I would assume so" I giggled "I'm Lauren" "Emily, nice meeting you, I can tell we'll be great friends" she said "Same. Do you do any sports" I asked "Well I'm the new catcher for the softball team" she explained "Omg no way! I'm the new pitcher for the softball team" I squealed "Yes a softball buddy" she exclaimed "Hey do you wanna go to Ikea to get some stuff for this room to not look boring after we're set free" I asked her "Duh, this place needs to look tumblr" she said "Oh you get me" I smirked "I think we have to be out of here by 3 though" she said "I think we just have to get the stuff and bring it back" I explained "Yeah but lets go anyhow" she said and I grabbed my keys out of my backpack We got to Ikea and we both agreed we need a desk "I think we should get a desk and a separate little vanity for all our makeup" I suggested "Omg you really know how to organize" she realized "Well I lived in a house full of boys and 2 girls" I told her "Are you a youtuber, I feel like I've seen you before" Emily asked me "Does this sound familiar" I asked and showed her my Blairefamxx tattoo "Yup, I think my friends are fans of you" she nodded "That's cool though" I laughed We eventually got everything and went back to our dorm, well, not before getting their swedish meatballs We assembled everything for our desk and vanity and it looked tumblr if you asked me

"We are good" we nodded and fist bumped "Should we go talk with other people" Emily asked "Might be useful, it's 2:15 so what else would we do for 45 minutes" I asked "Don't know but I'm staying at a hotel down the street for now, can you drive me there before you drive home" she pleaded "Of course. Anytime you need a ride girl" I smiled "Ok great, thank you so much" she said "No problem" I said holding a thumbs up "Do we have any other freshman teammates" Emily asked "Possibly" I shrugged Then we saw a couple girls with UCLA softball that looked to be upperclassmen "Um hi" I waved awkwardly "Hi I'm Ava and that's Beth. We both are on the softball team" Ava said "So are we. We were just wondering around and saw you guys so we figured we'd say hi to our new teammates" Emily answered "Aww well we can't wait to play with you girls. Also you both are absolutely gorgeous" Beth said "Awww thanks you girls are too" I smiled "What are your names" Ava asked "I'm Lauren and that's Emily" I replied "Please tell me you have a boyfriend Laur. You're so sweet and gorgeous" Beth said "I do have a boyfriend of about 5 almost 6 months" I blushed "Good, well orientation ends soon so we'll be heading out, nice meeting you girls though" Ava smiled hugging us "You guys too" Emily waved goodbye and we found another girl sitting by herself "Hi I'm Lauren" I said sitting next to the girl "Oh hi, I'm Brianne" she said "Oh yeah right, I'm Emily. We noticed you were sitting by yourself so we figured we would come and say hi" Emily explained "You two are really sweet thank you. I've been trying to look for softball teammates cause I'm a 1st basemen and I couldn't anyone" she said shyly "Well you found 2 teammates. I'm the pitcher and she's the catcher" I said pointing between Emily and me "Awesome, can I get your guys' phone number so we can hang during the year" she asked "Of course" I said and we both gave her our #'s "We have to go but we'll see you around Brie, hope that's ok to call you" Emily said "Yeah bye girls" she waved and Emily and I got in my car "Damn you have a nice car" she breathed "Haha thanks" I said and she directed me to the hotel "See ya tomorrow" she smiled getting out Oh yeah our first day is tomorrow Wow... Eventually, I got home around 3:45 and I was a bit exhausted "I'm home" I yelled Tessa and Erika came running up to me and I got caught a bit offguard "How was it" Erika asked "It was really fun. My dormate is amazing, she's also on the softball team so that helps" I explained walking to the kitchen to grab something to eat "Hey boys" I smiled at Jake, Kade, Tony, and Nick "So how was it" Tony asked me "It was fun, made a few friends on the softball team" I said "Oh yeah Chance is in the bathroom right now" Jake said "Ok thanks" I giggled knowing that would've been my next question He came out and I smiled at him eating my cereal "Hey babe, how'd it go" he asked sitting next to me "It went really good" I smiled "Cereal at 4, really?" Chance teased "I'm starving ok" I laughed and Chance pulled me onto his lap as I continued eating
Later that night, I was in the Chanthony room playing video games with them since I leave tomorrow I let out a yawn as I destroyed Chance at Black Opps III "You win" he sighed and I smiled "You tired" he asked and I nodded "Come here. *holds arms open as Lauren climbs into them* just sleep ok" he said and continued to play video games with me in his arms I eventually just decided to close my eyes and the last thing I heard was Chance telling goodnight with a gentle kiss on my forehead
