The night came when all fates would be decided
To see whom fate would side with
Iago advanced forward to what he swore
To deliver Cassio to death's door
But events did not turn out as he aimed
With Roderigo dead and Cassio maimed
Iago's only hope to be victorious once and for all
Was to witness Othello's downfall
The pure creature lay down to rest
Othello came and gave her a chance to confess
To ask for forgiveness for her supposed immoral acts
Before he puts her on death's tracks
She begged to live for half an hour more
But Othello could not allow what she wished for
He smothered her until she lay lifelessly
The deed had been committed privately
The dead mistress's maid revealed the way
Of how the handkerchief got stolen away
Othello finally saw through Iago's lie
But it was too late as Desdemona had died
Iago was taken prisoner for his inhumane crimes
To endure any torture for his entire lifetime
Othello deemed himself a colossal fool
And fell in an eternal sleep next to his jewel

PoetrySo, I decided to convert Shakespeare's play "Othello" into a poem. This poem is like a summary of the story, basically the main events that occurred throughout the play.
