Later that night when Lucian and the twins were working, Maribelle was laying her bed with red tear stained cheeks and curled into a ball under the covers, that was how her mother found her, "Oh sweetheart." Beatrice said as she pulled the covers from the 16 year old girl, Maribelle looked at her mother as a small sob ripped through her lips, Beatrice quickly pulled her daughter into her arms and kissed her head as she sat down on the bed.

"I... I don't wanna... stay here any.... more mom." Maribelle sobbed into her mom's shoulder, looking at her distraught daughter Beatrice clenched her jaw angrily at her husband before she remembered the plans she had before she knew she was pregnant with the twins, unclenching her jaw, Beatrice whispered to her daughter as she rubbed her back "We both will leave this place, we'll run away together."

Maribelle looked at her mother through her tears and asked "Really? You promise?" Beatrice nodded and got up and  pulled the 16 year old with her towards the bathroom, Maribelle limped and clung onto her mother. Beatrice turned on the water and let it run, filling the bathtub with luke warm water.

"When will we leave?" Maribelle asked in a low tone, her aching body relaxing the warm water, "On your 17th birthday, I'll start preparing everything for us to leave from now on and after everyone goes to bed on the night before your birthday we leave. Just you and I, away from this cruel and horrible place, we'll take our chances in the wilderness out there and we will survive." Beatrice said as she massaged her daughter's scalp seeing as she as washing her long brown locks.

Smiling finally Maribelle said "Just the two of us, I couldn't wish for anything better than this." the two women smiled and continued to plan their future departure while unknowingly to them a huge bump was coming their way, a bump so huge that it changed everything.
